The PVC lattice molding was just what we needed to trim the porch exterior after we rescreened it...
The PVC lattice molding was just what we needed to trim the porch exterior after we rescreened it. Originally it was done with the old screens stapled on to the posts, and so we followed suit doing the same technique, but the wood trim to cover the staples was rotted. We wondered if there were vinyl strips to cover it, to give it the look of a splined screen porch and found these. We used our staple gun that took brads, so no need for pneumatic nailer. It worked perfectly to install these slats. I did not add a fifth star, because we found the material very soft and indentions were easily made. I recommend it for this purpose, and the price on these were the best around. No need to paint them. Another tip, I used a white paint pen to dab over the brads and it hid them very well.
