Richmonds floral scroll border is inspired by an exquisitely hand-embroidered English table cover, worked in crewel yarns about 1650 and made to protect a table displaying family silver. The complementary field is in a Gothic fret motif popular on furniture a century later. These handsome patterns from Colonial Williamsburgs design archives combine in a Trend Meets Tradition look.

Not very Correct
The Coverlet in the stock photo is a little deceiving. I'm not sure what "Queen" size bed they are using because the Coverlet in the photo appears to be touching the floor. In addition, they have 3 folds that seem to be decent. I have a Queen size bed and mine does not touch the floor, at all. Also, I had a hard time trying to get 3 large folds in mine. The color is exact (Linen) that I purchased. It's the only thing that appears to be correct. I have two images with one being un-tucked and tucked in.

This bed spread washes well when following instructions. It is just the right thickness for a bed spread that keeps the duvet and comforter dust and animal hair clean.
