AnswersThe product description states that it’s water resistant, which is not the same as waterproof. It’s more impermeable than wood, but it can still be damaged by water depending on the volume/duration/velocity of exposure.

AnswersNo need to paint, it has a satin sheen already. It’s solid white plastic throughout, and very easy to wipe clean as well as being waterproof. Just be careful with putting too many nails, we shot it with our nail gun and filled the holes with painters caulking in edging and nail holes and realized afterwards we should of used a silicone white caulking to match the finish of the molding.
