Rubber-Cal Dura Chef Red 7/8 in. x 38.5 in. x 58.5 in. Anti-Fatigue Mat review: This HEAVY-DUTY mat is great for use in our kitchen while cooking and washing dishes. It is very comfortable to stand on - with shoes. When you stand barefooted it is uncomfortable. The holes allow dirt to fall through and not get on you. This mat is HEAVY! When I clean the floor underneath, it is difficult to pickup and move due to the weight so I fold it over length wise half of it, sweep and mop the floor, then repeat for the other half. It is worth it because it lays totally flat and then edges do not curl up. We are exceptionally pleased with this product! There ya go!

Woodworkers Will Love Anti-Fatigue Mat
This mat is thicker than most and the bubble cushion backing adds some help for foot fatigue from working on concrete floors. Size is perfect for a standard contractor's or carpenter's table saw as the longer length extends over the outfield table. The holes are large enough for easy vacuuming of sawdust. The orange color makes it easy to see so you don't trip on the edges. A great addition for any shop worker.

Pretty Heavy Duty
Yes, like I said, heavy duty. It weighs a ton. I had to roll it up twice and throw it up on my shoulder to carry it. Once this mat is down, it’s not going anywhere.
So yes, it’s heavy. That also means it’s quality. It is extremely well made and will hold up for years. The holes or pattern can be a blessing or a curse. Water, soap and grease will slide right through. If you have food or other types of chunky stuff, it will fall into the gaps and be stuck.
I use these on my porch in the Winter and workshop during the Summer. Another way it could be put to use is around a pool. Just have the little ones stand on this while drying off to prevent slipping.
Overall this product is a winner and I expect to get many years of use out of it.

Great for preventing fatigue
I got this to put in our basement kitchen, we do a lot of canning, and these mats are a must have. The Rubber-Cal Dura Chef mat at 7/8-inch-thick x 38.5-inch x 58.5 inch is the perfect size for us, plenty of room for two people to stand on it at the same time. This brand is also used by my wife in a school kitchen, for hours at a time and she says it's a good product. This mat is really nice under your feet. Made of a supple rubber it's thick and very comfortable.

If you have to stand a lot this mat is for you
The Rubber-Cal Dura Chef Red 7/8 in. x 38.5 in. x 58.5 in. Anti-Fatigue Mat is a great size for the garage. This mat fits perfectly in front of my workbench. The mat is very firm and at first, I thought it would be like standing on cement. However, the design of the mat REALLY changes standing for any length of time. I am amazed at how much cushion it gives to tired legs. The mat is very sturdy and it is heavy, it is not going to slip around. The open design of the mat also holds small debris that falls. It keeps your work standing area free of sawdust, it is not slick so I feel it adds a safety factor too.

Using outside rather than in a kitchen
My wife ordered this mat thinking it would be good to stand on in our kitchen or her classroom. Seeing that they are an industrial style it is not what she was looking for. I decided that this would be great out by our pool so that grass is not being tracked into the pool. They seem that they will be extremely durable. Not sure how sunlight will affect the rubber as they are designed for indoor use. If they last a couple years then that's ok. This one is very thick & durable. The large openings will allow water to run off the mat and there is a light texturing to prevent slipping.

Great rubber mat in red.
This mat is a gift to our friends that needed inside their garage. I be putting in a fold down worktop for them and placing this mat under their feet. This should last a lifetime and is over built in many ways. Each hole has a drain to allow water or fluids to run under the mat, preventing slips on cement floor. These work great during the winter months as they keep your feet off the cold-cold floor.

Great Comfort, Eases Standing for Long Periods
I got this mat for my outside workbench area. I found that standing for long periods to be difficult and would require shifting weight from one leg to another, as well as frequent breaks.
After I set this mat in place, I found standing for long periods no longer affected me as before. The mat adds a great deal of comfort, vs standing on direct concrete. The mat is very heavy; however, it is easy to roll up to clean the surface below. The mat is resistant to chemicals, such as paint thinners and fuels. All I can say is I should have gotten one of these a long time ago.

This review is for the Rubber-Cal Dura Chef Red 7/8 in. x 38.5 in. x 58.5 in. Anti-Fatigue Mat. This is a very good size for a workshop or potting shed, it could work well in either place, and will stand-up to whatever falls off the work or potting bench. The mat doesn’t have a lot of give, but that’s actually a good thing as it provides both support and comfort. This would be a great help during prolonged standing. While pricey, it’s about right for a quality anti-fatigue mat. It’s heavy and well-made; should last a long time.
