Blown away!!
I bought a few of these to serve as trash cans for outdoor parties and to store and inflatable water slide we bought for our kids.
Last night a storm blew a massive tree branch that crushed both of them and I was convinced they themselves would be trash.
But I got the branches off, popped out the crunched places, and they look good as new. Absolutely amazing!!

There was an effort
Not very durable. After just a little over 1 year, the lid wouldn't hold up to the handling by local waste management. What is worse, Rubbermaid doesn't make these lids easy to purchase (if at all) beyond buying a whole new unit.

Cracked in less than 2 yrs
Bought this when I bought my 1st house in May '21. Side is now splitting in less than 2 years. I Do Not Recommend.

Good can, but didn’t last 5 years
I bought this can for our recycling, but unfortunately it didn’t last 5 years because it developed a crack on the top lip. I do believe the lid could be designed to attach more securely. I will attempt to have it covered by their warranty and will post my results/findings.

I like this barrels great for sand and salt lids attached protect sand and salt from water and snow!!! This is my creation I did to use for salt! One barrel lasted me all year in snowy and icy Massachusetts

Critters Tore Through the Top
I was excited for the price and the brand. However, the critters get to them as soon as garbage goes in them. Especially the squirrels. My top has been torn to shreds. One month and the street rodents went to town. Sadly, you can't buy the replacement tops in the store. I saw a number in another review from the correspondent vendor so I'll call it and ask for a replacement top. Hopefully, the rodents wont devour the next top.

I give it 5 * because it is a good...
I give it 5 * because it is a good sturdy trash can. I love that it has an attached lid. My only issue is the size. But that's at no fault to anyone but myself. I would love to have like a 55 gal. But so far it gets the job done. Satisfied customer. Thank you.

Fine for indoor storage, but critters will eat through it outside
This would be a 5-star review if we could store this can in a garage. However, no garage for us, so we store it outside. Within a year, critters had already chewed through the top and ransacked our trash. So, would not recommend unless you can store it inside. If you can, then it's just fine.
