Q:What is the underlying wood structure? Particle board, OSB, MDF, Plywood, etc.? I see the word "Laminate" used; does that mean its made just like wood laminate flooring? Or does that refer to the cover wrapping the wood?

I use it for my kitchen storage it fits perfect, the material & color are good so I do not need to paint it plus it takes a medium loaded for my kitchen storage
I like it & recommended it for adding space especially in the kitchen pantry and clothing, it’ll fit very well with no effort.

Great Shelving
I really liked this shelving since it is coated in a consistent white laminate finish that is easy to clean. I used it in a basement closet to store extra pantry items and small kitchen appliances. Due to the material, I would recommend to avoid using in areas with humidity and moisture. I cut to fit in the shape of my closet and hid the cut side. I used painters tape where I cut to avoid damaging the coating but you do not want to leave the tape on long because it can potentially peel some of the laminate finishing off if you are not careful.

Don't let this get damp
Was using this as a desktop to expand a smaller desk. Left outside overnight and even without rain this is what it looks like now. Completely unusable for the purpose I intended.

I nice product to replace old painted shelving in our closet. Laminated finish which is easy to install and clean. Solid surface so heals do not slip through for a shoe shelf.

Nice Look!
We loved the stained-wood look, gray color and it was very easy to put up. However, as other reviewers noted, the wood seems warped or sags in the middle. Unfortunately, all of the gray shelves looked like this at the Home Depot we were at so we tried to find the least warped looking. But so far they are holding up our heavy laundry liquids and toiletries, we just try not to put anything too heavy in the middle since we don't want it to sag more. So time will tell how long these last!
