Mask the area with duct or masking tape and use a fine tooth blade. Seal the cut with a little color matching paint after.
I don't see why not but you WILL lose the lamination on the part you cut out. The problem then would be the bracket sticking farther out the from the front of the shelf.

To be honest, I?m not even sure what your asking. I do know that if you make any cut, the blade needs to be sharp. Otherwise you will have a ragged edge.
YES, CUTS GOOD.
Thank you for your interest in our products! The Rubbermaid White Laminated Wood Shelf 8 in. D x 48 in. L can be cut, however it will have an unfinished end where the cut is made.
Yes it can be cut down. The only problem is that the laminate covering on the end will be gone. When I cut one down in size, I placed the cut end against the wall so it could not be seen. Worked well for me. Hope this helps you. Good luck.
NO, ONLY IN 10 & 12 INCH SIZES.
Yes
I have 4 brackets on a 4 ft board. Look at the recommendation for your length of board.

WOOD - Particle Board Wood with Coating - Many uses Besides Just Shelving
Use the bracket that are recommended and they sell kits with the right hardware. Yes you will need to use a pilot hole first.
ANY & ALL TYPES OF SCREWS - DRILL A PILOT HOLE ALWAYS HELPS TO START & SET SCREWS
What you are suggesting sounds tricky, as these shelves were not intended to be attached to the L-brackets with screws. The shelves just rest on the brackets, and the system works very well as is. To attach the shelves with screws you would have to drill holes through the L-brackets themselves because they don't come pre-drilled. I would definitely drill pilot holes through the laminate layer of the shelf, and I think your only choice would be to use a half-inch wood screw. I don't think there would be anything to gain by fastening the shelves to the brackets.
I would not use it in any room that might get a lot of moisture.
YES - CAN BE USED IN ANY ROOM IN THE HOUSE & USED FOR MANY PROJECTS AROUND YOUR HOME
Yes, this can be used for bathrooms.
You can rip this, but you will lose the finished edge. Depending on the type of blade you use, it could "rough up" the cut edge.
I needed to trim off one end slightly so first I cut off the end laminate leaving an approx. 1/16" thick strip for reuse. The cordless circular saw used had a 3 3/8" carbide-tipped finishing saw blade. Cutting again to achieve the required length of the shelf I then reattached the laminate with white wood glue. After touching up a few odd spots with a small amount of white paint the alteration is hardly noticeable.
Yes, I think you could. I cut 6" off one end of one and the laminate was fine. But when you cut it. You will have an unfinished edge.
One trick to cutting laminate is to apply masking or painters tape along the cut line which helps prevent the "gnawed on by a beaver look" you can sometimes get. Table saw or circular saw should be fine.
I followed the suggestion above and put masking tape down before cutting. It worked alright; a bit rough, but not too bad. Then I used my router - beautiful results. So I would recommend masking tape and a router.
yes
YES YOU CAN.
I cut mine in half in the short direction. I used a plywood blade and got excellent results. No chipping. The blade got quite hot and burned the particle board on the cut edges, making some smoke during the cutting process. Perhaps someone could suggest a better blade. I used what I happened to have on hand. I think a plywood blade would get extremely hot if you tried ripping the boards in the long direction.
