Thanks for your interest in our products and reaching out! The Rubbermaid Zinc Twin Track Universal Hardware Pack can be used to secure the brackets to the shelf, there are holes in the brackets.

First, you drill a hole the same diameter of the white nylon anchor. Second, you insert the anchor in the hole and lightly tap in until it's almost flush with the drywall. Third, you insert the black pin in the hole of the anchor and tap it with a hammer until the 'wings' on the front of the anchor fold out. Lastly, you screw in the screw. It sometimes helps to do a dry run with just the screw to get the anchor threaded. Then mount the rail afterwards. Personally, I would not use just the anchors to mount these shelves unless you are NOT going to load them very heavy. It's best to find the studs in the wall and screw directly into those.

They are used to cover the silver screws after installation.

Thanks for you interest in our products! The stickers in the Zinc Twin Track Universal Hardware Pack are to cover the screws depending on the color of the Uprights chosen. There is a Black and White option.

Just unscrew the screw. If you attached a bracket or brace with the screw, remove the screw, then remove whatever you attached with the screw, then place the screw in the hole and push the screw in the wall to straighten or open the anchor. You also could use the black pin. Then you should be able to remove/pull out the anchor without further damaging the wall.

I do not believe they will come out one installed. If you want to remove them I would punch it through the drywall and patch the hole. I suppose it's possible that when the screw is removed the 'wings' on the end will fold back in when the anchor is pulled out. I have never actually used one. I always mount these shelves to studs. They will hold much more weight that way.
