It was a little larger than I expected and appears to be quite healthy. It's a little to early to tell if this will be a producer or not as further research suggests it may not fruit in my area. Had I known this type of tree had thorns I probably would have reconsidered my purchase but overall I'm happy. Hopefully in the next couple of years it will bear fruit or at the very least make for a good ornamental.

The pomegranate tree was very well packaged for shipping, but also easy to unpack, which was a pleasant surprise. Since it's February, the plant is dormant. We've had so much rain that I haven't been able to plant it yet, but since it is potted, and not bare root, the wait isn't an issue. I plan to come back and update my review in a few months once it is in the ground and (hopefully) leafed out.
