Love the look of chalk paint
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use chalk paint for all my projects. It gives the rustic look I'm going for in my house. It's easy to use for many different projects. I made some wood signs and sanded the sides to look worn or distressed. I love it. Rustoleum makes a quality product.

My Review White, Rust-Oleum Chalked paint
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This White, Rust-Oleum Chalked paint is wonderful. Made by a brand name I trust. You only need 1 coat. You can apply to a variety of surfaces. It is perfect for crafting. I will paint my project and let it dry. Then rough it up with some sand paper and it gives it that old look. You can also just use it to paint other projects. It dries to a white chalky smooth finish. It comes in other colors but I love the white. Makes something old look new again or makes something new look old. I Highly recommend.

Love this paint
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve worked with chalk paint before but never this brand. I was impressed with it. I made a three tiered shelf and used this paint. It was very easy to use and I’m really happy how my project turned out. It dried quickly but I waited a couple days before adding another coat.
I would recommend it and I can’t wait to paint a book shelf in the spring with this brand. I’m enclosing a photo but my lighting isn’t great.

So Easy to Use
Aside from a wash with Simple Green, I needed no further prep to transform this outdated piece to a showpiece. Two coats covered easily, and a quart was more than I needed. Now I want to redo every piece of furniture in the house!

Inaccurate Color
I love chalk paint but hadn't used this brand before. I was disappointed that the color came out to be a shade lighter than charcoal. I ended up using dark wax over my piece to darken it up because the color was so light.

Thank you for the feedback! When using the Rust-Oleum Chalked Ultra Matte Paint, it is important that the surface is sanded and cleaned beforehand to allow for proper drying. The container should also be mixed well beforehand as well as often during application to disperse any settled material. - Rust-Oleum Product Support 5
