Q:Can label say?s great for grills but back label says not to apply to surfaces that will exceed 200�. Grills will get a lot hotter than 200� especially if you keep the lid on. Is it okay to use this spray on the screen cover that goes over gas fire pit?

Horrible coverage follow up
The reply from Rustoleum tells me to hold the can upright when the can says “ANY-ANGLE” spray.
I’m going to have a lot of trouble positioning my car vertically so I can hold the can upright.

Not Black - it’s Green
As others have stated, this is not black but a dark green. Yes it was shaken up (over two minutes)

After vigorously shaking Rust-Oleum Automotive Black Matte Finish Spray Paint for at least one minute once the mixing ball begins to rattle (thoroughly mixing the pigment), the color is typically excellent. It's Green...and not really matte
The title says it all. Unfortunately, I do not see colors well and painted the entire bumper before I realized. I just thought is was an off black, but my wife says it is straight hunter green...with some sheen.

should have been marketed as dark military green
Used this to paint my fenders on a custom motorcycle build expecting a flat black..the finish is matte but more green than black in my eyes… personally I like most of their products and use them quite often but this needs to be relabeled- it’s more of a military color and should be marketed as such

NOT BLACK
Why rustoleum would call this black is beyond me. It's dark green. I have never had to test any black spray paint made by rustoleum but now I'll need to start.

Oh no, this is not what we like to hear. After vigorously shaking Rust-Oleum Automotive Matte Finish Spray Paint for at least one minute once the mixing ball begins to rattle, and frequently during use, the color will match the cap. All that shaking keeps the pigment (color) in the can well mixed, this provides excellent color when the paint is dry. Too shinny...and DEFINITELY NOT black
The finish is a bit too shinny for a matte ....and the color is definitely greenish...( Yes , I shook the can well...yes I used black primer..Quite experienced on spray painting)...and the sprayer is awful. Bought this based on Rust Oleum previous experiences...but this was a bust.

even finish but not really black
maybe I should have read the reviews but it does have a green tint to it. I sprayed a black primer underneath, let that dry for 8 hours, then sprayed this "matte black." I was expecting a super black turnout but there is a green tint to it. I'll be starting my project over with something else...

NOT MATTE, very glossy. bumpy truck bed liner like finish.
Shaken over a minute before hand and every 30 seconds while painting, used two cans and it still went on super blotchy. Used over top of Rust-Oleum clean metal primer. Looks awful. Waste of money.
