worked better than I expected
We have a stairway in our house and the treads are made of oak. They were a bit slippery, especially when wearing socks. I found this Rustoleum product online and decided to give it a try. I did one step first and the results looked great. We have a polyurethane finish on the oak. And adding the non-skid finish made it a little less glossy and a lot less slick. The visual difference is pretty subtle and I don't notice it unless I'm looking for it and trying to catch it in the right light. We've had it on now for a couple of weeks and it seems to be wearing pretty well. I taped off and sprayed a two inch wide strip along the front edge of the tread. The only downside is the smell is pretty strong so you should plan on airng the house out after using it. But it clears out in a few hours. Overall I'm very happy with the results.

found my cure for wet mexican tile around pool
i have laid 1634 mexican tiles around my pool not realizing they would be so slippery when wet all other products have color or tint and were like sandpaper on your feeti,m here to tell you that this product really works i just stearted my 2nd can it sprays on smooth and the finish is just flat enough to look nature.only thing is its not cheap 1 can does 16 tile 16sq ft so i have alot of saving but it is worth it because i waisted 3 years telling my kids not to run or stay off the tackey runners i had to put down...oh the parties i was afraid to have worrying about my parents slipping .anyway thats the truth i feel that happy about this product wish i find it in larger size. goodluck with your project

Works great
Put it on the bathtub in seconds and let dry for a day. Doesn't change colour or too rough to sit in.

Safety before beauty
Excellent solution for slippery stairs. It will dull and roughen the finish however that is minor compared to the significant safety improvement.

Great product
Fantastic. Used on Flagstone stairs which were very slippery when wet. Resolved problem completely.
Also works after salting in the winter.

It works
I have bought a second can because the first one I used really made a different. Not sure how long will it last but let see. Apparently it takes more than 30 minutes to dry even at a hot sunny day. Five stars for sure because it is made in Canada, not USA.

Worked Great!

anti-slip
At first I was delighted. I could certainly feel the grip on my concrete patio. however, within a few days, it is gone..Perhaps its because with 8 dogs I must hose wash every morning.
I am very disappointed in this product.

Works great!!
We remodeled our home and tiled all the outside patios with tile. When dry it seemed rough enough but when it rained it became slick as glass. Due to other reviews we tried this product and are so happy with it. It is easy to apply dries quickly and is holding up nicely we applied it in march. We live in florida and will see how it holds up in the heat and rain. It feels like very fine sand paper if you walk barefoot on it but it does not change how your tile looks.
