240 oz. Dark Gray Gloss 2.5-Car Garage Floor Kit

Put this down on our brand new garage floor 5yrs ago. My husband is a mechanic, does side work at the house, our floor has seen every possible automotive fluid and has large patches of epoxy eroded away, slick in places. Might work for the average garage but not for real use. Also, recommend mixing batches together during application for even color.

If I had read the reviews here before use I probably would have passed on So many postings about it not sticking. It comes with some acetic acid powder, to mix with water, to prepare the floor. Are people not using it?! I've had no problems what-so-ever on 4 garages. I sweep the floor, I degrease spots that have oil/grease, I use the acetic acid powder in a bucket of water and sweep that around, RINSE, LET DRY OVERNIGHT, and it sticks like the glue that it is. It is epoxy after all.

Horrible color consistency. Used on basement floor and garage floor several batches mismatched completely

Did everything according to instructions and did not park my car in garage for 5 DAYS to let it cure. First time I put my car in, I got tire pick up marks under my tires.

This starter kit comes with everything but the tools, and it even tells you the recommended things needed. The colors are great for a personal touch in the man cave aka garage. With long dry times and wet snowy weather I may have to wait til spring to use but I'm excited.

To have our garage floor look better and have little decorative chips within the floor is awesome. I do have to say though, that definitely plan and take your time! This is not a fast project (unless your a pro?). There is a lot of steps and prep before even starting to think about applying to your flooring, including the right temperature! Having a couple of people like my husband and I did is very helpful as well. There is great instructions and video available to help prepare and apply. I purchased the gloss gray 2 and 1/2 car kit for my garage. I did 1 side at a time according to directions provided. When the first side was complete it was gray, when finished with both sides it had turned blue. Why is that? Color isn’t a big deal but I am curious as to why that happened. I just hope it holds up. I would appreciate your response. Thanks

I finished my 2 and 1/2 car garage a few days ago having to do 1 side at a time. It took about a week to complete the job with the drying time. Was very easy to do with most of the time spent on preparation. Only problem is each side is a slightly different color. It doesn’t make a big difference to me but I wish it would have matched perfect considering the amount of work involved. It is a garage floor. I will be happy if it holds up well.
