I need to mark lines for a pathway in my backyard. Once the paint is dry, is it safe for my dogs? They sometimes eat grass.

I would hope the dog would not eat that much grass... eating enough of this to possibly make the dog ill would have the same result of just eating non-painted grass. With a dog's keener sense of smell, I would expect them to eat grass elsewhere. I have used this product for marking spaces on grass for major public events where animals are sometimes present and not had any issues related to ingested paint covered grass. This is not to say I would encourage or allow your dog to eat paint covered grass.

Can this product be used in a line striping machine? I invert the can, put in the striping machine and when I push the grip on the machine, the paint comes out. I move machine to make a straight line.

I think it depends upon the machine. It is very easy to apply without a machine but if precision is required, a machine does a better job.

If I use this paint to put a small X on a lawn to show a company where a sign post is to be placed, will it kill the grass that gets paint on it. My clients would not be happy if I killed their well manicured lawns with this product.

It killed my grass but it quickly filled back in. Just spray a little bit or put a wooden stake in the ground.
