NO. Splatters.
I bought this believing I needed a High Heat spray paint my for a light fixture. I had purchased rare NOS light fixtures, and, when I sprayed them, I frantically scrubbed for a long time to remove the splatter marks (I followed the instructions-it still splattered). I returned this in person at Home Depot and got advice in the paint aisle. Behr spray paint was recommended due to its better nozzle. I tried it (no splatter). And, the color is better.

When spray painting, we do recommend protecting surrounding areas or areas you do not want painted by masking to prevent overspray from damaging the surface. Mineral spirits can be used to help clean-up Rust-Oleum Specialty High Heat Ultra Spray Paint. Please keep in mind, this paint is intended for use on surfaces that will reach temperatures well above 200°F when exposed to indirect heat. If the surface does not reach temperatures above 200°F, then our standard spray paints can be used instead.

Being the second owner of a late 80's town home yellow appliances were popular back then. As older appliances near end-of-life (ie: Refrigerator) mfg's no longer make them in yellow. Having a black fridge in a kitchen of yellow appliances draws attention to itself. Luckily the Rust-Oleum high heat black resolved that issue, and now my appliances all match and actually brings a more modern look to my kitchen.

Paint needs more improvement!!!
Does not have high expectations as thought. The spray can has more shine that the material inside the aerosol can. I paid almost 10.00 for a shinny can the the paint.

Let's see what we can figure out Sandra. Rust-Oleum Specialty High Heat Ultra Spray Paint requires heat curing to dry to the proper sheen. Heat the surface to 450° F for one hour to properly cure the paint.

Great coverage
The only reason I didn't give the product 5 stars is because I have not used my grill yet. The coverage is great even after one coat. I bought 2 cans so went ahead and put a second coat on.
My husband thought I bought a new grill. I recommend this product.

Rustoleum Guy says.....
Down below the official Rustoleum Guy just said that the reason the dude's paint was peeling was because he didn't cure it. "Rust-Oleum Specialty High Heat Spray must be heated to at least 400ºF for 1 hour in order for it to cure properly. If you don't as soon as the paint is fully dry, the paint will not be able to adhere well to the metal and will flake off as you described. - Rust-Oleum Product Support 5".
Well jeez that sounds important. Maybe they should have put that on the LABEL?? I just read the entire label - it's tiny but I don't see any mention about heating to 400F. The only reference to curing/drying says THIS:
"Allow paint to dry 1 hour before heating. It may emit smoke and harmless odor at first. Dries to the touch in 1/2 hour and to handle in 1-2 hours."
So I guess since I didn't heat my freshly painted grill to 400 F AS SOON AS THE PAINT WAS FULLY DRY -- I'm doomed to have peeling paint?? Someone else please read the label I must be missing it....?

Used the semi-gloss high-heat black to paint my out-of-date tarnished brass fireplace doors, brass fireplace tool handles; and brass ring at the bottom of the tool holder. I painted the tools and holder outside, but the doors in-place (with windows open and fans going, after completely cleaning out the fireplace and masking the brick surround). YouTube video showed me the steps. The paint dried quickly and we all love the updated look. It took one entire can, 3-4 coats, but that did it all. The semi-gloss finish makes it easy to clean now, which I was afraid wouldn't be the case with the matte version (bought both). I had used the Rustoleum chalk Ultra-white to refinish a tired old vanity and that worked great too!
