Q:Sadly, I used several applications of a wax product called 'Rejuvenate'....it now has a waxy build up that I would like to get rid of. Can I use this product with that wax on it or should I use a different product to remove the wax, then apply this? Thx

We just bought a house built in 1965 and the hard wood floors looked like they have been around that long. They had never been cleaned or serviced in any way. The worst room in the house was in pretty bad shape. By the time I finished the first coat of the Clear Finish you could really see a huge difference. The floor shined beautifully now! Very easy to use with no sanding! Takes a about 3 hours in 11x11 room.

I was sceptic about this product, as I was told sanding old wood floors was the only choice we had to get the results shown on the package. Since the reviews were very good, I really wanted to try this first before calling a professional, as the alternative would be messy and costly. We recently purchased a 60 year old home and the floors were filthy, scratched and not sealed. First, I scrubbed the years of dirt and grime off with multiple buckets of warm water and Murphy's Oil soap. Then I followed the kit's instructions and the results were amazing! This kit was enough to renew the 13 x 18 Living Room and hallway. I would recommend doing this with very good ventilation due to the abrasive chemical's odors. I gave it 4 Stars because I think the kit could be a bit cheaper since you need to buy other tools and supplies to do the work. We are very pleased with our new living room floor and friends can't believe we didn't sand the entire room. It looks professionally done.

This was pretty expensive. We bought 3 because we didn't want to run out. We did return 2 of them. After using on our laminate floors we are not happy. It restores the shine, but does absolutely nothing for the scratches. Only made them shine. I would not recommend this project. We really wanted it to work:(

That is not what we like to hear! Our Rust-Oleum Wood Floor Transformations Kit is designed to fill surface scuffs and scratches in the existing polyurethane, restoring the sheen to the floor. If the surface scratches have went through the floor finish into either the wood or stain, the discoloration caused will not be repaired by using this kit. We purchased a fixer upper home, we found oak floors under the old carpet. The floor surface was in good condition no major sanding was required. I sanded the surface with a 1/4 sheet palm sander then applied stain to the floor surface to bring back the color. I then used the product as instructed, the results were better than expected, we are very happy with the product. The floors in my son's home are in similar condition, I will be renewing his floors this summer.

I'm not sure why a previous customer had trouble with this product. Maybe his floors had wax on them...?
I started out with unwaxed oak floors, that were slightly scratched here and there and fairly dirty. I steam cleaned my floors first, spot sanded and stained where necessary, then applied the Wood Floor Transformation system exactly as instructed. The floors turned out awesome!!
