Good Stuff
With drying time, it took my wife and I an entire weekend to do two cabinets, but these formerly tired, oak cabinets look great! The instructions said two coats of bonding paint, but it took 3-4 to fully cover the oak underneath. This kit is perfect for a couple bathrooms or a small kitchen.

Awesome coverage

Shipping was horrible
I have bought this kit in store in the past and the product is great. However this time I ordered it and it came all dented. Almost every can is damaged. I don’t recommend having it shipped. Just buy it in store.

Great product!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was torn between replacing or updating my cabinets and doors. The Cabinet transformation kit by Rust-Oleum cut mu eye. The kit comes with everything you need to transform cabinets for a new look.
I was impressed, I could even use it on previously painted cabinets and doors, without having to strip them.
I used de-glosser first - worked like a charm, after followed with multiple coats of primer since my cabinets and doors were dark, then two coats of white. The paint goes on smooth it’s easy to work with. Lots of coats and lots of drying time in between. I would suggest using a roller instead of a brush for the topcoat.
This product is amazing, but I must make sure I was following directions exactly. The instructions are very easy to understand and follow.
It’s a wonderful DIY project for a long weekend. Love the finished look!
