There is an on/off switch on the back of the SABRE Home Series Wireless Door Stop Alarm. To activate turn the switch to the "on" position and place under the door according to the instructions. If the alarm is activated, turn the switch to the "off" position to deactivate. This unit requires a 9V battery. The life of the battery depends on usage.
