A pad that works well with area rugs.
The pad works well under my area rug. I have hardwood floors and the pad helps with slippage and movement of the rug.

I had some concerns whether it is or isn't safe...
I had some concerns whether it is or isn't safe for hardwood floors since in the chart doing comparisons of pads this particular pad did not list safe for hardwoods. A response from the product indicated that it is safe. Hopefully that is accurate!!! For certain the rug stays in place, it doesn't really provide much of a padding to the rug, but the grip is great and keeps my dog from sliding the rug all over the place.

Hello - Thank you for your question. Our Rug Pads can be used on hardwood floors. However, our Rug Pads may not be suitable for use on vinyl, lacquered or acrylic surfaces. If you are unsure it is best to contact a local floor professional or floor installer to see if our rug pads are suitable to be used on your floors.
