Well, depending how big of a gap you have you made need two. First try one, when you pour, make different mounds through out the targeted area and save some. Use a push broom to get it in there and make the sand flush with the top of the brick. Use what is left to fill areas that may need extra, this will tell you if you need a second tub. Water in every time you water your grass or garden eventually the sand will harden which will then make that area grass and weed free.
Wait until it dries and then you can walk on it. Every time you water your grass or trees etc, water the sand in. It will eventually harden making it weed free.
If you have a nice sand base it would seem that it would hold up fine based on our bricks, we used this when we initially placed our pavers, then used it to touch up spots that have settled.
