Thank you for your question. We are sorry, but this product has been discontinued and is no longer available. Please contact us at 1-866-256-7404 if we may provide any more information and resolve to your satisfaction. Thanks again.
It lacks the completion of real concrete, it does not hold up.
ShapeCrete is a new collaborative innovation between Fu-Tung Cheng, master designer and founder of Cheng Concrete, and Sakrete. Sacrete used a core product of Cheng Concrete which is presently unavailable to Sacrete. The relationship is suspected to have ended about 1-2 years ago. Review the Sacrete site for an alternative, see: https://www.sakrete.com/products/fast-setting-concrete
Hello, Thank you for your inquiry. We don't have an exact reason why this was discontinued but reasons vary from market demand to contracts we have with our vendors. We would recommend reaching out to the manufacturer directly for pricing and availability. Thank you for choosing The Home Depot.
There was not enough of a demand for the product so we had to discontinue it.
gray
I only know of the one color type - grey. It dries a bit dark. I have colored it with tint used for grout and it works well though for white I think you would have to paint.
No, it only comes in grey.
Hi John, unfortunately we do not offer the item in the white color. We apologize for the inconvenience. We appreciate your business and look forward to serving you in the future. Thank you for shopping Home Depot!
You can paint or stain this ShapeCrete or purchase ShapeCrete Color, a dry pigment blend in an assortment of colors.
I would contact Sakrete directly.
I do not know. Please contact the manufacturer and inquire whether your proposed mix would degrade its properties and benefits.
No, this cannot be mixed with foam. Unfortunately we do not have a material in our line that can be mixed with foam.
yes
I'm not sure what type of foam you're thinking about, but I doubt it. This is a dense 'powder' (like concrete mix, except finer and with tiny filaments in it) and I doubt that foam would provide enough moisture to make the Shapecrete workable. I don't know how large your septic tank covers are, but you could work with this material in a relatively thin layer if you put it over a wire mesh 'cover' shaped to fit over the septic cover.
I didn't . Used regular spray paint. Not sure what kind of paint you plan on using.
use a combination primer-paint ... so you will only paint once..
I would consult the paint manufacturer with this question. I have done it both ways myself in the past and not had too many adverse reactions either way. Some have flaked over the years, but I would definitely contact the manufacturer of the paint for a more definitive answer.
I would think so. Make sure you have paint for concrete.
no
I would not use this. Use: Quikrete Concrete Patch Compound.
No, you cannot use this product for that application. You will need to use the Fast Setting Cement Patcher and the Top N Bond product to raise that area up.
It dries as hard as cement but it does take 30 days to fully cure. I would go with regular cement just to be safe.
Not much. It doesn't go far. It works good. I used some on curves on my concrete sidewalk that has stone but the product doesn't go far.
2 SQ feet
You will get approximately 4.5 sq ft per 20 lb bucket at 1/2" in thickness.
This product is intended for sculpture and craft work. I don't think this is the product you are looking for. Your question leads me to believe you want regular cement or a patching concrete product.
