Q:I love the look of the copper, but do I need to literally dry the sink after each use. i.e. Pour glass of water. Wipe Sink. Don't want the whole glass, so I pour it out. Wipe Sink? I'm wondering if I'm going to be reluctant to use the sink?

The sink actually looks far better than any photo. I am thrilled with the way it fits into our newly refurbished kitchen. It's wonderful with the existing cabinets and hardwood floors and with the new tile. It feels very substantial and I am excited to have it for years to come.

We absolutely love our Adams Farmhouse Apron sink. It make a remarkable difference in the way our farmhouse kitchen looked. Every time someone comes in, people notice the copper farmhouse sink and ask where we purchased it. We have had it in about 2 months now and am really enjoying the amazing country look that we wanted in our kitchen. It far exceeded our expectations.

Great Sink for the Money... Daily Maintenance Requirement
This is a great sink for the money. I did call the manufacturer about maintenance and care for the sink. I asked Sinkology Tech Line about using lacquer to maintain the patina of the sink. I cannot use lacquer coating for this sink. There is a marine wax coating that has been applied to the interior sink basin. Using lacquer would not adhere unless the wax coating is removed. I will allow the sink to age with a natural patina on all the sides of the sink. I have been using bar keepers friend in a liquid on the bottom basin of the sink. I feel comfortable using this product as I have used it with my other 100% copper pots and pans for years. This will change the patina development but I will not have water marks or dish rings on the base of the sink. That would drive me crazy! Daily maintenance of cleaning the copper sink is required. If you don't required want daily cleaning, buy a porcelain sink. Hope this is helpful.

Beautiful addition to our kitchen remodel!
We originally put down a deposit on a more expensive apron-front white fire-clay sink, until I saw an example of a copper sink online, and could not quite get that image out of my head. It really does add a unique look to our kitchen, and blends beautifully with our cinnamon maple cabinets, light color quartz countertop and dark bronze faucet and hardware. There are other copper sinks out there costing up to 4 times as much as the Sinkology model, albeit with often different designs, but our basic hammered copper single-basin sink makes a statement all by itself. There is no lacquer finish to worry about, and the factory applied antique patina requires little maintenance (natural copper will exhibit varying light and dark tones, and even if you drop some tomato or lemon in the sink and get some occasional bright spots, these will naturally fade away by themselves). We've had the sink now for almost 4 weeks, and I may get around to putting a wax coat on the inside of the basin, but so far we love it just the way it is.

Would buy again in a heartbeat!!
Love this sink!! I have always wanted an farmhouse apron sink and to find this copper one for such a great price-I figured there must be a catch. We have been using this sink for about a year and it is wonderful. Yes- some things(even soap) will change the color, but that is just life's patina. It is copper-of course some products react with it. Love it!!
