Hello! Our sinks are handmade, so dimensions can vary ever so slightly from sink to sink. We recommend having the sink in hand prior to making any modifications to your countertops. Why is a cabinet size of 28 inches required for a 25 inch sink? I like this sink and would be installing where the open space between the cabinets (under the countertop) is 26 inches. Would I be unable to install?
Hello, yes you could install this sink in a 26" base; however, it would leave a lot less wiggle room if any modifications are needed and be tight, which is why our recommendation is a 28" base. A 28" base allows for clearance for the 25" x 22" sink, mounting space, and any tolerances. Here is a link to the specification sheet. I know it says drop in, but can it also be undermount?
Hello! Our Jackson sinks are designed to be installed as a drop-in style sink. Installing as an undermount is not impossible, but could prove very difficult when ensuring the holes drilled into the countertop for the faucet line up exactly with the faucet holes on the sink. With that said, we do have an undermount collection of fireclay sinks you might like - our Amplify Collection of Eden sinks. Check out our Eden 31" (SK472-31FC-WH) as this is made of the same fireclay that the Jackson is, but as a true undermount sink. The product specs on the home depot website state 30" min cabinet size but another website says 36" minimum. Which is correct?

We need a replacement sink, so we need to know the size of the cutout. There is an answer from sinkology below that says the width of the sink is 32.5¨. That would mean the overhang over the counter is 1/4¨ on each side. That seems very narrow.

A standard-size kitchen sink drain should work with this garbage disposal, which is 3.5".
