    Been about 2 years now and still love this sink. The sides have darkened (patina) from the bright shiny copper it was when new. The bottom is a little bit brighter because it gets more wear. Hand soap that drips from the dispenser installed in our countertop will "shiny up" the copper when it drips and sits on it, but whatever, it still looks good, and after a couple seconds of cleaning, is gone. It will dent. In the pic you can see two dents in the bottom because we dropped something big and heavy into it, so be careful. They're not deep dents at all, just small depressions that can be pounded out from underneath if you wanted to do so. To me, not worth doing at this point in time They're not as bad as they might look in the pic, plus the water in the depressions from rinsing out the sink for the pic is reflecting light. I also bought the "copper" strainer/stopper: don't waste your money. Its not copper, just a copper look and doesn't match the sink at all. Now I have a separate stopper I use if needed and keep a black strainer in the hole to trap food (because we're on a septic system). I still think the side drain is the best option. Try getting to the stopper in the middle when you've loaded the sink full of stuff to soak and now you want to drain it.

      very hard to keep it clean and shiny you have to buy special products to clean it. water drops or cup of plates marks will show and will not go a way if you don't have special cleaning products. and you have to polish it almost every other day so annoying

        This sink is the perfect addition to my new kitchen! it matches the copper flecks in the granite and really makes it all pop! This is the best value I have found for a copper sink, too, by about $200. The beat finish is amazing and I've found that I don't mind the different colors it changes when exposed to different elements (soap, food, etc) it adds to the character I think! My husband and I have done most for the renovation ourselves and installation was easy.

        I ordered this sinkology sink to replace an old worn out porcelain coated type to this solid copper beauty. I'v had it in use for several months. Treating it and caring for it I use it for both cleaning and soaking dishes. But it was some DIY work work to get it set into place. The copper hammered work makes it look good reptile looking theme This sink was a well worth addition to my DIY kitchen. A taste of luxury in modest environment
