    A:  If you look closely at the stock photo, the teeth are pointing the right way with the logo out; however, my SKILSAW blade came with the logo on the opposite side of the blade, the standard for right-side blades. I don't recall if the blade was even installed when I received my saw and I never used the stock blade. Instead, I replaced it with a Freud Diablo blade as soon as I set up the saw. Looking at the branding, the Freud blade also has the logo on the "wrong" side when it's installed correctly. I'm not sure what your concern is; but, with the blade installed correctly (as shown in the customer photos), the saw functions very well.

      Replaced Mag 77.
      I like how light it is. I had a Mag 77 Worm Drive previously and gave it away thinking I would need a dad in the future. Of course I was wrong. Weight was a high priority and I couldn’t be more pleased.

      Excellent saw, well built, easy to operate.
      I was lookin for a saw that would replace my battery operated ryobi, which also worked well for many years. Instead of replacing the battery I wanted a cord powered circ saw. I also was used to being able to watch the blade rip along my cut line during smaller pieces of wood. Which is why I bought the southpaw. I wasn’t sure if it would be a big deal to be able to watch the blade, as most circ saws have the blade on the right side of the machine, which I kind of find a little more awkward. This machine lets me do it easily! Sometimes it’s just hard to watch the guide. The saw has lots of power, looks great, and is well worth the price in my opinion. I plan to have this one for years to come. My only thought is whether or not Skil will stand behind their name and warranty in case anything breaks.

      By far the best circular saw I've owned. It's super light, but it has plenty of power to cut through just about anything. I feel like I am able to cut better lines with it, probably because the blade is on the left where you can see what you're cutting. They didn't go cheap on the cord either. It's 10' feet long. Nothing but quality here and at a decent price.

      All right - but its best Left.
      Super Impressed with the new Left Blade Sidewinder “Southpaw”, it is so nice to be able to see your cut since I cut with my right hand. I have a saw with a right blade configuration and it is a little bit tougher to see my cutline, having to wrench my head over the saw or switch to cutting with my left hand (not the best solution). I have made many cuts over my head building a deck and this saw would have come in really handy for staying on my line because a worm drive is just too bulky for that purpose. Skilsaw has managed to make a sturdy lightweight magnesium frame saw that is accurate on the cut, firm on the hand and powerful. I made some long cuts at 45 degrees since I am converting my shop into French cleat tool storage and no problems. Even when stopping your cut the convenience break does a great job stopping the blade quickly before putting down the saw. An additional benefit is the 10 foot cord, anyone who has ever cut a sheet of plywood knows it no fun stopping the cut to move the plug that catches on the edge of your work. Overall the “Southpaw” gets the job done with the left side blade, power, and overall construction for the Pro and DIYer. Add this to your arsenal of tools!

          Skilsaw Sidewinder
          After 20 plus years of using my old Skilsaw I replaced it with the new Skilsaw Sidewinder. I like the saw a lot. Has more power (15A vs 10A) and smoother handle than the previous saw.
