Is there a way to stop the unit if there is wind and its turning. Say if I have a storm coming n want to take it down. But it has not stopped . How would I stop it ?

It should be turned off when the wind turbine speed is slow, not when the speed is fast, which will damage the motor. What is the wattage (since in an earlier question you claim it isnt 800) if it isnt 800 as advertised?

The power generation is unstable and will change according to the change of wind speed. The strength and stability of the wind directly affect the output power of the wind turbine. If the wind speed is too low or too high, or if the wind direction changes frequently, the generator will not be able to achieve the best working condition, thus affecting the power generation efficiency. If there are trees, buildings and other obstacles next to the installation point, a turbulent area will be formed, which will affect the working condition of the turbine, and should avoid installing the turbine in these areas. What can this provide power to
Im personally looking for a solar backup. Normally it would take a few days charging at 400w to charge all my batteries. At 800w that should be even faster. Plus wind energy is nearly always around 10 yo 15 mph here. Solar is great til the sun isnt out.
