The kaleidoscope is very stout. The pair I purchased are in the ground and thriving. This shrub
has delicate blooms and diverse coloration. It is also very low maintenance once established.

These two gallon plants were really one gallon plants placed...
These two gallon plants were really one gallon plants placed into two gallon containers for this growing season. The problem was that the plants had not been in the containers long enough for their roots to grow into a heavy mulch medium. When removing them from the containers there was no root structure to hold the additional growing medium, that did not remain attached to the rootball. Bottom line: you pay for a two-gallon plant and get a large one gallon plant. Therefore, the price is ridiculously high.
