Product Overview
Mahonia Soft Caress features soft bamboo-like foliage, unlike any other variety of mahonia. It has a compact growth habit with a mature size of 3 ft. tall and 3 ft. 4 ft. wide. In early winter, bright yellow flowers stand atop the foliage, like fingers of light. Mahonia Soft Caress makes a great specimen in shade gardens, especially Asian garden landscapes.

Good winter bloom
Love this plant. Does not get as tall as a typical mahonia, but it does get a good spread. I have not had any fruit for the birds to appear, even though there were many flowers and bees.

This was my first time ordering a living plant. It was very easy to order; I was concerned about them shipping a living plant, in a 2-gallon container, but I am SUPER pleased. It arrived on time, and the packaging was EXCELLENT!! The box was well-marked, so it arrived right-side up, and it was fixed in place so the plant could not tip over or spill dirt. It was fresh, and beautiful, and is doing very well after about 2 weeks in my garden. I will not hesitate to order more living plants from Home Depot.
