Strong durable screws when you need strength and they do not pre-drilling in fresh wood. These can be used in decking and other structural work. I used them to fix a mistake in fencing; I placed one post too far away and had to screw a second 4x4" next to it. I used these screws and they worked great. I drove them with a 3/8" bit with my impact driver. If you do not have an impact driver you will probably have to pre-drill. The zinc-coating has stood up well to three years of weather.
