Yes. Golf carts are small. If your golf cart is big as a full size pickup truck then I would worry.

This gun is designed to be used with conventional air compressors. Not compatible with turbine powered HVLP spray systems.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great value i have been a professional painter for 35 years and i bought this gun over a year ago to use with my limited cfm compressor at home in my garage. at work i use sata 4000 and tekna prolite, niether of which operate properly with my home compressor. i can honestly say this is the best cheap gun i have ever had. its held up to a fair amount of abuse which is why i gave it high marks. it also sprays clear coat very well. l.v.l.p. requires proper gun setup to work right, so disregard reviews about spitting, or runs or orange peel. watch some lvlp videos and practice and this gun will serve you well

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Did everything I expected of it. This is the second gun I have ever used and my first gravity fed gun. I painted an entire car in my garage and the gun worked very well. After some adjusting and subsequent practicing, I laid down two stage metallic paint evenly. This gun has modest air volume requirements which make it great for moderate sized compressors. Great inexpensive gun.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I love it!.....mostly I have a 1 horse, 12 gallon compressor that generates about 4CFM @ 40psi. I bought this gun because my compressor would run it. The instructions included with it are terrible, I mean really bad. However, if you have access to the internet and Youtube, you can figure it out. Once I got it setup properly, it did all I hoped it would do.

After playing with the adjustments on some scrap, I achieved the desired effect and was quite happy with the results. Looking forward to my next projects.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I used this spray gun to paint a bumper cover and fender on my truck. The project came out great... I used this spray gun to paint a bumper cover and fender on my truck. The project came out great! The spray gun handled the primer, paint and, clear coat very well. Getting the settings right takes a little trial and error but, you can get very good results. You'll also need a pressure regulator and an oil/moisture filter. I'm happy with the results and would recommend this for the amateur painter.

I had no problems using it to spray a quart of chassis saver on the bottom of my SUV. I just followed the directions and thinned the product before putting it into the spray gun. Worked like a charm.

I have sprayed oil based paints and have no issues with the gun or it's air requirements using a small portable compressor.
