Q:The first question I asked wasn't answered correctly. I want to know if the 71240120-0 that has a 31.25"width tub will fit in the same spot as my 30" tub or do I need another 30" tub to replace it with.I cannot move the drain. Thanks.

STAY AWAAAAAAAAY!!!!!
We ordered online and installed this February 2017. We remodeled our partially finished basement bathroom. We have a master and hall bath upstairs, so the basement bath was used 2 or times a year. until the last month, when we needed to remodel both upstairs baths at the same time. We just discovered there are cracks forming. Now I'll need to get some silicone to seal the cracks along the narrow panel, and even a small hole, and praying the upstairs baths are finished soon. How incredibly disappointing. We barely used it. The cracks are along one of the ridges, about a foot long. in our previous house, we had a beautiful large kitchen sink from Sterling. I guess their no good with bath products, or perhaps, they just stink overall now.

Arrived Broken, Very Broken
After making my tenants wait for the delivery of this surround (being that none are offered in store), the surround arrived very very broken. This was not a little crack, the whole side was smashed. And of course, getting a human on the phone at the store is a 20 minute endeavour! This order has been nothing less than frustrating.

This is a really nice set for the price. We installed in a rental bathroom. It took our contractor some time to get the fit exactly right, but the finished product looks neat and tidy. The shelf features, including generous ledge space on and along the corners, are really great and the tub depth is ample. The detail along the top edge is a nice feature as it did not require us to install a tile border but still looks 'finished'. The design is simple and classic, and will be easy to clean/rinse down to prevent stains and mildew. The quality of the materials is good, too. The tub and walls feel sturdy and well made.

Hearing so many reviewers upset with damaged-in-shipment issues, I had mine shipped to Home Depot. When it arrived, we opened ours right there in the shipping area; all was fine - but if it had not been, it would have been much easier to have HD take it back, rather than trying to re-package it ourselves for replacement. We repackaged it and, with the assistance of the employees there, it was loaded into our truck. We then took special care unloading it and bringing in into the house until we could start the demolition.
Installation was done by ourselves. The old tub/surround that was removed was also a Sterling (very similar to this one), but 25 years old - although slightly different size. Some modifications had to be done to accommodate the limited size of our existing 'pocket' (see photo) -- but it was relatively straight-forward; we did not have any major problems and only a few minor challenges. My friend doing the install, however, was experienced in plumbing and re-construction. Had he not been - it may have been a bit of a challenge since the panels were rather 'fussy' going into place because of the size difference and the walls not being perfect --and we had to be extra careful 'squeezing' the slightly larger tub into the space without cracking it.
All went well - it took 3 weekends from start to finish, including new molding, new drywall, and other finishing touches. I especially chose this tub because of the notched/raised lip between the surround and tub - my old one had a seam and was always cruddy looking. This model has clean lines and no place for crud to get into :-) I like the little shelves - good for the soap bars; although I still use a hanging basket for shampoo bottles and such. The quality seems very good with reinforcements built into the base (very solid feeling). The end result is wonderful - I couldn't be happier with the product and installation!!

This a great tub surround! We bought it to replace an old porcelain tub and tile shower that was dated and in poor shape. I spent a lot of time browsing options and settled on this one-- it was sort of hard to tell how the shelves and design would look based on the online pictures alone, but they are fabulous! Lots of storage (so many surrounds have minimal/no storage) and the shelves are tucked into the corners nicely so it doesn't take up elbow space like some bath/shower shelving does. Arrived in good shape and my husband installed it himself. The photo is from right after installation so please ignore the mess!

The first tub and surround came in damaged, so had to re-order. The contractor had no issues with the installation. Love the built-in shelves- wide enough for one bottle of shampoo or a can of shaving cream and razor. The floor has texture to prevent slipping. We've only been using it for about a week, but so far has been easy to clean. See attached pictures.

Cheap shower panels
Poor quality in the manufacturing of the shower panels. Defects throughout. My contractor wanted to send them back, but I was desperate to have my bathroom finished.
