The ILLUMiDOME is an extremely durable yet light weight Mini Waterproof Lantern. This light boasts 220 Lumens of wide angle light with its 1-Watt LED and offers light settings of; low, medium, high, and a rapid blinking hazard. The ILLUMiDOME can hang upright from the removable strap, or hang upside down from the split rings nested in its base. The main feature, that skyrockets the ILLUMiDOME in front of the competition, is its dual light output option. When the chrome reflector is removed from the top and stored easily in the base, the user now has a full area light. The ILLUMiDOME erases the shadows left behind by your traditional lantern output. To utilize the ILLUMiDOME once again as a lantern, the user simply replaces the reflector and the light is bounced back out in the traditional manner. Hang the ILLUMiDOME inside your tent or use it to light up your picnic table. Hook the ILLUMiDOME and aim light in your engine bay, or keep the ILLUMiDOME in your trunk as a reliable safety light. Toss a few in your pool for a late night swim as the ILLUMiDOME even floats. The “Illumidome” light is a compact unit that could easily be stowed in a back pack for camping. It is light and made of about 90% plastic so it may not withstand “some” rough handling. It can supposedly float so it should be resistant to outdoor rains. The light has three different intensities and a strobe function. It can be hung in a tent or placed on a table with either a flood pattern or restricted light pattern by using a deflector and a hook and loop wrist band that stows in the twist open base.

Mini Lantern
This battery-powered mini lantern has a bright white LED light. The push button switch on the side of the base cycles through its four functions, (dim, medium, bright, and blinking). It is only about 4 inches wide and about 4 inches tall. It can sit on its base and provide lantern light on a table, for example or it can be hung from the top or bottom of the lantern. The top has a velcro strap, the bottom has metal loops that can be folded out of the way or pulled out to hang the lantern. The reflector in the top can be removed, and there is a place in the base (battery compartment) designed to store it so it does not get lost. Nice feature! It requires three AA batteries (included). It is light weight, bright, and waterproof. It should float (but I have not tried that.) We had a friends campfire after dark a couple nights ago and used this lantern to light the steps up to the back deck where the food was and it worked great. This is a great light weight mini lantern.

Great little lantern that is light and powerful. The lantern has three levels of brightness, and one flashing setting. The on/off button is easy to use (just click through the levels of brightness) and easily available on the side of the lantern. A soft handle on the top allows you to carry this like a lantern, and a removable plastic top easily twists off to allow light to illuminate straight down if you choose to hang the lantern from the fold out hooks. I was surprised how lightweight the lantern is, even with the batteries installed. My only complaint is the fold-out metal hooks (for hanging) can sometimes rattle - it would be good if they snapped into place to prevent this.

This mini waterproof lantern from STRIKER is just what my wife and I have been looking for when sitting outside in the evening. Three light levels are available along with a flashing mode. The lantern provides 220 lumens of light in the high mode with 360 degrees of coverage around the unit. The lantern is waterproof with a rating of IP-6. With the built-in hook we easily hang it from our patio umbrella. The light also comes with a removable Velcro strap. The three AAA batteries reportedly provide up to 100 hours of light when operating in the low mode. One grandson already requested to borrow the lantern for an upcoming overnight camp out. This is a great, compact, water proof light source. It is great to throw in just about anything you are packing. I keep mine in the car. It has three brightness levels (see photos) and also a strobe for safety or marking (see video). The split ring on the bottom makes it easy to hang on pipes, trees, rope, etc. It has a removable cap so when you hang it upside down it makes a great dome light. It is very helpful in a number of general lighting situations.

I've beat this thing up, and it's still great! It's really nice and bright. I love the waterproof compartment on the bottom! All the little stuff that CAN'T get wet or is easily lost, goes there, and I don't have to worry about it! It'll be there and dry when I come back for it. It's impressive.
