Product Details

Sticky mesh is applied to rigid foam insulation or insulated concrete forms prior to application of Tuff II and FlexCoat Foundation Coating. Sticky mesh increases the coatings strength and resiliency. Sticky mesh also aids in reducing or eliminating cracks.

Q:Can this be applied to previously parged styro. Existing parge is chipping away, does it have to be removed before applying stick mesh? Alternately secure the sticky mesh with barbed staples?

A:  If the parge is failing it all should be removed and the original styro examined and if in poor condition replaced as well. In a situation like this it is best to remove all of the old material and start from scratch. Mike

A:  Not by itself. It is intended to stick to foam and allow you to cover it with products, like cement or stucco that provide the outer surface. I believe the insulating properties will depend on what you cover it with.

    Excellent product
    Our home was built in 1945 we have three different foundations on our home one is limestone sandstone and bricks bought the Earth tone styro and put it on our foundation hid all the bad ugly bricks and increase the value of our home big and now our home also looks like a 2023 beautiful product easy to work with excellent customer service if you want to use this company you will not be let down #1.       This worked as it should. I recommend buying whatever size or slightly smaller than needed. It makes cutting easier. It adhered pretty well and once you start applying the epoxy, it sticks even better.
