Purchased these with a 1 in. x 48 in. pipe...
Purchased these with a 1 in. x 48 in. pipe along with a couple flanges and 90 degree elbows to build a ceiling mounted pull-up bar. Mounted the flanges to a 2 in. x 6 in. with 1/4 in. x 1 1/2 in. lag screws and the 2x6 to the ceiling with 1/4 in. x 4 in. lag screws.

Got this pipe to use for my pipe clamps. They hold a lot better than the standard clamps and are much stronger. I highly advise you to use pipe clamps instead of other large clamps that are lighter and bend easily.

I recently bought a 2 foot piece of black pipe....
I recently bought a 2 foot piece of black pipe. It was very overly priced. It was $20 for 2 foot. Plumbing supply has a 10 foot piece for $18. Your 10 foot pipe was well over $40. Home Depot prices have risen dramatically over the last year. I now am going back to the supply houses for my materials.
