Beats the big name-brand version
With the pandemic in full swing, trustworthy hand sanitizer has been hard to find -- especially the well known brands. I picked up a bottle of SUPPLYAID gel mainly because it was the only thing available, and was very surprised to find that far from being a poor substitute, it's the best sanitizer I've encountered. From an effectiveness point of view, it contains 80% ethyl alcohol; by comparison, the best known brand ranges between 50% and 70%. It's a gel, so it's easier to apply than some of the liquids that have been rushed out in the emergency. The gel is on the thin side, which makes it easier to rub into my hands than a thicker product. You can get an idea of how thick the stuff is from my picture.
Unlike some other sanitizers that dry out my skin so that it cracks, this leaves my hands feeling smooth and soft. It also doesn't make my hands feel gummy like some other gels. The SUPPLYAID sanitizer does have a definite botanical aroma; I would probably have chosen an unscented product, but the scent doesn't bother me at all -- and many fragrances make my eyes water and my nose run. Finally in the list of positives, the pump container is a great size for my desk, and the round bottle doesn't fall over easily.
The only negative I've found about this sanitizer: it tastes really bad, something I discovered while eating lunch a few minutes after applying it. If you're preparing or eating food, you will want to wash it off first. On the upside, it's broken me of the habit of licking my fingers while separating sheets of paper, so it's not all bad!
The bottom line is that SUPPLYAID has come out with a "substitute" that I prefer to the original, and I've bought more to have at home and in the car. I hope that it remains available long after this pandemic is just a bad memory.

Best hand gel around and a great size so I don’t skimp on the pumps. It’s slightly thinner but leaves hands fresh and feeling soft while other gels can smell bad. Until I received this order I felt panicked since other hand gels like Purell are nowhere to be had. Thank you for caring about public safety and offering this option.

Great product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Supply Aid Hand Sanitizer Gel with Moisturizer is a great product. I do not care for hand sanitizer because they all have that same liquid feeling to it. Once you put some on your hands, it feels like a race to rub it in. I was reluctant to try this product for fear it would have the same feeling even though it suppose to be a sanitizer gel. Supply Aid Hand Sanitizer Gel amazed me! The product has a thicker texture so it doesn't run off the hands. You have time to rub it in. Most other sanitizers dry out my hands and this product did not do that. I have recommended this product to a lot of my friends and I will continue to recommend Supply Aid Hand Sanitizer Gel with Soothing Aloe. Such a great product.

Awesome hand sanitizer

This is an excellent product, comparable to more expensive brand-name products. I’ve been buying it for quite a while, even before the pandemic. The pricing is good and it’s always accessible through Home Depot.

This is my favorite hand sanitizer. It has 80% alcohol, it evaporates quickly and leaves no sticky residue. Strong alcohol scent but that is to be expected. No overwhelming perfume scents.
