A:  The grid clip is made of plastic and the S-hook is made of metal.

    A:  They are small plastic white clips maybe about 1 square inch (give or take). The plastic is not forgiving and will break easily, but the S hook that comes with it is metal and sturdy. We are using these to hang lightweight sneeze barriers and they are working out just fine. The plastic grip adheres to the metal ceiling tile frame securely so they don't move.

      A:  The main body is plastic with a small metal hook. It is very small, less than an inch square, and the S hook is also small, about an inch long.

          The plastic pieces were easy to affix to the ceiling grid. I hung small baskets from the S hooks....
          The plastic pieces were easy to affix to the ceiling grid. I hung small baskets from the S hooks. Over two weeks, all but one of the plastic clips popped off of the grid...and the baskets fell, sometimes falling on people sitting on the couch below. I tried again with just the clips and S hooks. In 5 days, three of 7 clips popped off. I'll be returning both packs of four clips / S hooks.

          Easy to install and great price
          These little hooks are super easy to install (just snap them on to the metal strips of the drop ceiling). I used these to hang wedding decorations. I used only the plastic parts and tied my decorations to the plastic snaps with clear string. The looked great and held probably 5 pounds each, maybe more. Can't beat this price!

          Plastic clips will not fit over ceiling grid. Very disapointed with them, I tried to put them up and the opening that is supposed to grip the grid is not wide enough.

            call before you go
            Good luck finding them at a store. Even if the app or web says they have them, theres no guarantee that anyone will kniw where to find them when you get there. Waited 20 min for someone to show up to help find them, only to find out that they had no clue what they were or where to look for them

              Difficult to install, don't stay put
              The design seems alright but the slots for the ceiling grid to fit in are too tight. The way the plastic bends means when they lose their grip they go flying and drop whatever you had hanging from them.
