AnswerHello. We would highly advise using a rug pad that is safe to use with luxury vinyl plank flooring and not to use this rug by itself on your floors. Since this rug does not have a backing it is kept together with a weft on the back side that could potentially damage the flooring. Thank you for your inquiry.

Nice rug, but packaging is a problem
Bought the 10 x 13 in Ivory. This is our second of the same rug. The first one we got from another source and it lasted about 3 1/2 years until it began showing too much dirt. Just decided to replace it rather than trying to clean it. The first one came rolled up and there was no problem, however this one came folded in half, then folded over and over. It has been two days without being able to return the furniture in place and use the room, and no improvement in the lumps and wrinkles. Very disappointed !!

Good buy - but be aware of a couple things..
The Good:
The rug pile is very soft, comfortable to the feel. Very easy to raise the pile with just your hand.
I purchased the Dark Grey. i wouldn't call it "dark gray" as "charcoal gray" is dark gray. But its darker than "light gray" anyway. The pile is a mixture of light and dark colors and it comes out nicely.
The not so good:
2 "beware" items i'd have to mention along with any recommendation.
a) the color - if you're looking for dark gray, well...its lighter than that... not a close to black as one would expect with dark gray.
b) the size - If size isn't critical, then the fact that the rug is not 48 x 48 might not matter to you. However, i have a stage that is exactly 48x48. This was purchased to cover that.
* The rug needs to stretch. Nailing down the corners, i was able to stretch one dimension to 48" ( it needed to stretch about 1/4".) However the other dimension was 47" exact... no amount of stretching could bring it up to 48".
Conclusion:
It's an excellent quality general purpose throw rug. I can only recommend it as such.
However, my biggest caveat with this rug is "installation" because of the amount of effort i've had to use to get it to cover the 48x48" area it's supposed to cover.
Recommend: Good buy - but be aware of a couple things.

They shipped quickly and arrived in durable factory packing for safety during transit.
Beautiful thick pile (you cannot see through to the backing), no shedding, no weird smells and relaxed from being rolled within a day. Paired them with a 1/4” rug pad and they are luxurious!
Be aware that the silver color is not a solid silver ... it’s primarily thick silver yarns with some thinner silver/charcoal yarns throughout.
Really pleased with these and would definitely buy again.

Of course it’s brand new so I cannot comment on wear and tear, but the rug is very comfortable to walk on when not wearing shoes. I love the thickness of the shag. The solid black really makes the art hanging on my walls really pop. Very pleased with my purchase.

I love my rug. It feels great and looks beautiful in my living room. The quality is durable for high traffic areas. It delivered within a few days. The factory smell of the rug is strong in the first few weeks. My family and guess have given compliments on my rug. I love that it's plush and is not a shedding material. It is the perfect product for the look and the quality that I preferred. I have an 8x10.
