Safavieh developed a special sisal weave that achieves intricate designs that are so easy to maintain, you simply clean your rug with a garden hose.

- Water resistant making it perfect for outdoor use
- Available in multiple sizes and/or colors
- Vacuum regularly and spot clean; for hard-to-remove stains, professional rug cleaning is recommended; rotating your rugs every 3-6 months will protect against uneven wear from foot traffic and furniture weight
- Use rug protectors under the legs of heavy furniture to avoid flattening piles
- Packing and shipping of your rug may cause temporary creases; these surface waves are not imperfections or damages and will gradually recede; back-rolling or reverse rolling is the fastest and easiest way to remove creases in your area rug; allow ample time for your rug to settle, these creases and waves will normally flatten out

Is the back of this rug soft fabric or rough?

This rug is exactly what I was looking for! I would say - be aware that the color of the brown is a bit darker than perceived in the picture but still fit my needs just fine! The quality for this price was awesome.

Very happy I made the right decision to purchase this product!
I had searched several sites including; Wayfair; Joss & Main; and various others that had this specific pattern. Most were way too expensive, some weren't the blend I needed since it was going in my kitchen. I was concerned about the color after reading other reviews. But, when it arrived I could see right away the pattern and color was better than I expected. It looks great in my kitchen. Make sure you lay it in the sunshine to soften the creases before you place it.

this is my second outdoor SAFAVIEH. my first one...
this is my second outdoor SAFAVIEH. my first one lasted nearly three seasons, then started unraveling and wearing through but it does take a beating in the sun and the rain so I am satisfied. great for keeping off the hot cement before getting into the pool.
