AnswerHi MJ. The top has a bit of a bump as you can see from the books being settled on that it might not be suitable for a drink but other objects that might not spill. Thank you for your inquiry.

Elegant addition to your home
The Safavieh Garden Stool is very versatile and adaptable for many places inside and outside your home.
The cream color goes with many color schemes, and the diamond pattern adds flair and style. The stool can be used as a side table, stool, chair, etc. And is useful inside or outside in the garden or patio.
It has substance so is not going to tip easily. And it is made of ceramic so has a substantial look and feel to it. This also means low-maintenance when it comes to cleaning.
We have used it in our sunroom and in the outdoor pavilion. While we primarily use it as a side table, when you need an extra stool, or a footrest, out it comes.

Excellent Outdoor Table!
For the longest time I have been wanting a Chinese garden stool but never could find just the right one. This one definitely is! I love the open lattice design, and I also love the creamy white color, which will be the dot on the I in my predominantly white flowering garden. I cannot wait to take my afternoon coffee in the garden come spring, utilizing this new found little gem as the side table next to my chaise. The stool is not too heavy, yet not too light, so I do not have to worry about it being blown over by wind gusts, as they occur here rather often. The finish is lustrous, the whole garden stool looks way more expensive than it truly is, perfect addition to my garden!
