Does the lighter color look more cream or white?

We placed the above item in our small dining room with wood floors and placed a 3 1/2’ round table with x 4 chairs. We we’re satisfied with this area rug. Recommend vacuuming before placement & allow for a couple of weeks for the curl or flap to rest flat on the floor. (Flap or curl is a result of the rolled storage procedures). Trying to steer my interior decor towards a more adult look. The patter on the rug is understated. Bright light really brings out the pattern, but I was hoping the silver would be more slivery and play with the light. It's really just a light gray. Still, the rug is pleasing to look at and feels nice under foot. It's medium pile, so I'm using a pad underneath for added cushioning. No heavy chemical smell despite being a machine made rug. Virtually no fibers picked up when initially vacuuming, so hopefully it doesn't shed much over time. Yes, there are nicer rugs out there, but not at this price point. 5 star buy.
