AnswerHi Cori. The backing on this is latex but it isn't non-slip, it is simply there as a weft for the back foundation. We would still recommend adding a non-slip pad to help with holding it in place. Thank you for your inquiry.

AnswerHi. Yes, the latex is mostly on the backing of the rug on the corners where the weft comes together. It is not recommended to use on vinyl plank but it could be mitigated if no heat is trapped under the rug, that is what will ruin the flooring. For rug pads, we do not manufacture any specifically for vinyl flooring. Thank you for your inquiry.

I bought the 10 x 14 and 8 ft runner to match. It is beautiful and exactly as described by Home Depot. It is VERY plush. I am absolutely elated with it's quality. Definitely recommend! You will need to let it lay flat for a couple days, which is to be expected because they wrapped it with very thick plastic to protect it - which I am glad they did.

Incredibly Soft! Exactly What I Was Looking For!
We originally bought a cheaper shag rug with a similar pattern and were not impressed (it was lacking in softness and a bit “crunchy” feeling). I saw this one and everyone said how soft it was, I figured it was worth a shot. Upon opening it after delivery I was very pleased with this purchase! I’m impressed by how soft and thick it is! The pattern is gorgeous and I like how the gray has some tans mixed in—it matches our decor perfectly! It just looks and feels so luxurious and expensive! A rug pad is definitely not needed with this rug because it is so plush. It feels like thick expensive carpet and is exactly what I was looking for! Our kids absolutely love it! I can’t speak for durability as we just got it but it does not shed and looks like it will stand up to years of use.

I am in love with this plush area rug! The pile height makes this rug soft and great to walk on. The color is exactly what I was looking for. When it was first unrolled, it seemed lighter than the picture online, but after vacuuming it, it pulled all sides of the rug which resulted in a little change (darker). The measurements are accurate. I am very pleased with the quality of this product. This shag has swag!

This 9x12 rug was delivered to our front door with free shipping within 6 days from ordering. After unrolling it, the next day it was perfectly flat. It vacuums very good for being a shag type rug. It is a beautiful rug and I am very happy I made the decision to purchase it. Very thick and it seems to be of high quality.

Very nice rug! We've only had it a month but it is soft and appears well made. Heavy! Packaged very well with end bonnets and plastic wrapped for shipping. A local store quoted 3 times the cost for a custom rug the same size. We bought 2 of these and a matching runner. Happy with all 3!
