What's the difference from Safavieh Paris rug and the venise shag rug?

AnswerHi Kathy. The major differences between the Paris Shag and the Venice Shag is mainly in the construction of the rug. The Paris Shag is machine made and has a pile of 2.5 inches giving it more of a tighter, dense feel. The Venice Shag is hand tufted with a 3 inch pile making it softer and more plush. I love this rug! I debated for a long time before buying because the pictures didn't give a clear sense of how plush it would be but it's exactly what I was looking for. Extremely plush and soft, with a pearl color that matches the online images. I did purchase a rug pad for extra softness but probably not necessary. Highly recommend.

I was skeptical, but the rug is incredible and really made our living room a lot better! All the kids love how soft it is and we can lay or play games on it. It's also good for playing Just Dance barefoot to get the kids moving while we need to stay at home or when the weather is not good to go outside.
