AnswersHi Jean. That will depend on how much foot traffic this rug will be expected to be exposed to. If minimal, we would recommend the anti-slip rubber one, otherwise a thicker pad would help keep it in place as well as making it more durable for high traffic areas. Thank you for your inquiry.

Smells bad. Really strong odor. Very poor quality. Rug is defective. It has stripes and discolorations in that appear to be defects. It is crooked, the sides are bent and edges are uneven (not square). I purchased a smaller one also and the quality is the same (terrible). It is just more junk made for Americans. I like Home Depot, but I will not shop this Brand again. SEE PIC

I received the navy blue rug. There are thin white stripes in it but the stripes are broken up and not solid lines. It's not solid navy blue. I really like it and it looks good with my hardwood floors. It's not very thick but I put a pad underneath to make it softer. No regrets.

I like this rug a lot for many reasons. It's very soft, looks great and is easy to vacuum. I didn't realize the stripes would be so prominent but it still looks good, exactly like the photo...not quite pink not quite purple, more magenta with lighter striping, not too dark not too light. It's obviously not silk or wool, but since I have a dog I go thru rugs more frequently. It's a very nice rug for the price.

This area rug is luxurious- thick and soft on your toes! Laid down perfectly over felt pad which I recommend to feel an protect the lush pile even more. It’s called “Cream” but based on other reviews I decided on this rug because is does have a pretty soft brown uneven hue (not really a stripe) going through. This color will help in my main room higher traffic area! Also the card that come with it instructs that you can choose to turn it based on the nap— one way is more cream looking & the other is the darker brown hue. I have mine bowing lighter as you walk into the room and when you sit down it’s creamy with chocolate hues & cozy.

However, the actual rug is dark brown with stripes on it. I was extremely disappointed with this rug and will not
buy another rug from Home Depot without seeing it in person.
More Mottled Than I Expected

I ordered this rug for our daughter's room. When the rug arrived, I was surprised at the color variety shown. There is a lot more white/lilac than I expected. I thought the rug would err more on the side of a solid color with slight variation, but it has a definite pattern.
The plush texture of the rug is perfect. Both of our kids couldn't wait to lay on it and roll around and soon as I unrolled it.
I wish this rug had a non-slip backing on it, but other than that, it is a quality rug.
Excellent color and quality for the money. I have 4 in different sizes.
