Easy to use and trim. Holds well and creates a good barrier while allowing proper ventilation. It's increase durability for pets does make it a little less easy to see through but completely worth the trade off.

Well, so far, so good. It does resist cat claws. But if you buy this, buy some spline that is just a tad smaller in diameter than your old spline--or be prepared to spend a long time getting it installed inch by inch. It's not as flexible as regular, fiberglass screening--it's almost as stiff and thick as metal. That makes it very difficult to get pushed into the spline channel with a regular spline tool. I had to use a flathead screwdriver on parts, (i.e. corners) so it would push in. Once installed, it looks good, and seems to be sturdy.

This screening material IS tough! I re-screened my patio door with this material. Because it is thicker than normal fiberglass it was more difficult to reinstall the original spline. It was necessary to go over the spline several times to seat it deep enough to hold the screen In the future I will get the next size smaller spline and I'm sure it will go much easier IF I ever have to replace this screen! Even trimming the excess fabric away with a utility knife was not nearly as easy as normal screen material. This testifies to the claim that it will resist pets better than normal screening.
Because of it's density it allows less light to come through and I have noticed a slight reduction of air passing through. This does not present a problem for me however I thought I should note that. Doggie door not included.

Served our purposes. We used this screening after our new pup created his own door out one of our patio windows.“oops”. More recently we made our own custom commercial grade Magic Mesh style screen door. We’ve bought several of them in the past, great idea, poor construction, most only lasted a few hours before they start of falling apart. Using this screening and some heavy duty magnets from HD we now have a great screen door the dogs can freely move in and out of that will last for what we hope will be a long time.

I put this in my back door last year.
Before, I was lucky to get a year out of a screen. I’m now putting them in all my windows. My neighbor who had five dogs, put it in his house. That is how I found out about it. The screen looks good after a year with my two cats.

Great look, resistant to tearing
I decided to try to install the Fiberglass Pet Resistant Screen; I found I needed a special tool and a spline kit. I could not find the tool I had purchased many years ago. This screen door is almost 40 years old. I got the spline tool and 0.140 inch spline material. I watched multiple YouTube videos to learn the steps I would need to do. The old screen material was very lightweight, this material is thick, heavy, and tear resistant. While the task was not particularly difficult, this was a case where I may have needed to use the 0.125 inch spline material for an easier job.
