are the doors reversible? can they open from right to left?

I will no longer be purchasing major appliances from Home Depot because of this issue as well as the issue with connecting the Ice Maker at the time of delivery. I found out the day before delivery that only a Samsung Tech could make the change. Their website provides no information and there is no one to contact via phone to get answers to questions. Terrible Customer Service!

Does this model come with an ice bucket for the ice maker?

It's about 2 years later so I suppose I'm answering this from the future! My 25 yr old fridge bit the dust last week, so after trying to repair it, I decided on this one and only noticed this Q after the fact. I can answer it only for those that had my setup, which is/was 1/4 OD copper tubing (I ran it 25 years back from the garage source to the kitchen through the ceiling, dropped down). Home depot sells you a 'must-have' plastic line with some kind of pressure nuts on each end. It's fairly standard. From the Samsung end, it's all oddball stuff. The fridge has a piece of 1/4 inch OD (that is an odd inside diameter) plastic hose coming from it. Samsung leaves a 'fitting' (crazy 1/8" compression adapter without a nut, the nut is missing) that can't be used without the nut. I think it's wrong anyway. I went to Home Depot's plumbing aisle and stared at fittings insanely for an hour and realized they didn't have any 1/8" or none I could use, so I bought a plain copper 1/4" compression nut that included a ferrule and insert, then also bought a plastic 1/4 inch ferrule/insert kit (about 4 bucks so far) and a coupler 1/4" to 1/4" to get to my hookup hose. Just use the plastic ferrule over the brass insert that you've now put inside the fridge hose, and within about 15-30 minutes you're set to attach with a 1/4" fitting rather than their insane 1/8" one that they give you the wrong parts for. If you're going to a water outlet of any sort that'll accept a 1/4" compression nut then you're good to go. If none of this made sense, then ask one of the guys in plumbing over at Home Depot -- Some of them are amazing. I had them just leave the fridge in the middle of my kitchen and I had it installed and working, now making ice fine in about an hour, but ice took 6-12 hours to begin to be output. I'm pretty sure you can attach nearly anything to anything with the 3-4 generations of tubing, copper & plastic .. pex etc, that are at Home Depot, but it might take a bit of staring at parts and bringing in some stuff to try things right there on the floor. Dealing with actual Samsung and Home Depot service people on the phone might be more time that some of us are willing to spend to get a simple fridge working right. I hope this helps someone. Also: The hose Home Depot supplies for the installers is quite cheaply put together, so perhaps use the 12 dollar braided cable they sell instead. Functionally identical. I got a refund for their cheap hose.

We purchased this refrigerator after thoroughly reviewing the spec. As per the manual guide, the length of refrigerator when doors open in 90 degree is 59 inches. Though the length between the wall and the kitchen island is 60 inches, the doors not fully open. Please see attached pic. Appreciate if samsung/HD will further review measurements.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After 2 months waiting for backorder, it arrived. It's perfect and I plan on getting a water line put in for it, to use the icemaker that was included! Doesn't show my kids' grubby prints, and it's smooth white with just enough sheen. The interior lights are nice and bright and the door beeps if left open too long. Shelves seem sturdy, although they don't have the extra thick plastic edge piece that I would have liked. It'll do the job! Hopefully!!

Difficult and time consuming to change change direction of how the doors open. Leveling adjustment foot under the door hinge looks like an after thought to prevent the fridge from tipping over. Accidently ruined the clear coat over the stainless steel on the freezer door while removing the warrantee sticker glue residue with a dishwashing scrubbing sponge. (Recommend that Samsung not put stickers on their products.) Seems to work good. Like the icemaker and freezer lighting. Hidden handles are nice.

Customer review from samsung.com logo
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this refrigerator back in 2017 and continue to be happy with my purchase. It has plenty of usable space and many features that are not available on similar refrigerators of the same class; the digital temperature settings, the door open chime, and the up front push-button ice maker control are among the few features that stand out on this model. This fridge runs very quiet; one can hardly hear the compressor or circulation fans running. I have another fridge from a different manufacturer and you can hear that thing whirr and hum from the other room. It truly is a great refrigerator.

Customer review from samsung.com logo
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this refrigerator for over two years and I still love it. Very spacious on the inside and has nice clean lines on the outside. The digital temperature controls and door open chimes are a nice touch when compared to competitive models in the same class. Also, you can turn off the built-in icemaker with a button, rather than reaching in and flipping up a bale to stop ice production for long periods away. It is very quiet when the compressor is running, unlike my other brand of fridge where you can hear the cooling fan and compressor turn on from another room away. I'm very happy with this refrigerator.

Customer review from samsung.com logo
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 2020 july deliver was to the door. i self installed. no problems until i tried to level. user manual instruction is "turn the leveling legs clockwise to lower the position, or turn counter clockwise to raise." so placing a clock on the floor next to the leg to understand which way to turn the leg, i turned "counter clockwise to raise the right corner". very difficult to turn and the corner did not raise to level. contacted samsung chat and was directed to https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ans00062321/ for the correct procedure. much more detail, and discovered that i needed to place the clock upside down for the user manual instruction to be correct, so i had been turning the leg in the wrong direction.

We have bought multiple Samsung appliances over the last 10 years, and have been pleased. So when we rented a house that didn't have a fridge, we immediately looked for the cheapest Samsung that would fit our space. I was concerned about this one being on the smaller-ish side, but in this case size is deceiving. The freezer part IS pretty small, but the door bins hold a lot more than I expected, and there is a tiny but fierce ice maker... so you don't sacrifice quality OR space. While the fridge shelving is spaced well, I was frustrated about having only two long door bins that were not adjustable. Once we got groceries put in, though, I realized that they've managed to give GIANT produce drawers because they didn't take up the lower door space with a third door bin. That's a tradeoff I'm definitely willing to take! And despite thinking the "Slide & Reach Pantry" was a gimmick, we use it far more than I anticipated. They've made it just tall enough that my glass food storage containers with clip-on lids fit perfectly! We keep Husband's leftovers for lunch up there so he knows what he can take and nobody eats them accidentally. LOL I had read a couple reviews stating the temperature wasn't cold enough, so I purchased a good digital thermometer to check for myself. The freezer was so cold at next-to-coldest setting, that the thermometer maxed out (lowest it can read is -4°F). So I warmed the freezer a notch and now it reads -1°F, which will save me on electric costs. The fridge has to be bumped all the way up to next-to-coldest to maintain 39°-40° on this thermometer, but that's fine with me... so long as it stays that way! I've only had this for 2 weeks, but if it goes wonky, I'll try to update. If you have a smaller-ish space for a refrigerator, and a smaller-ish budget, but still want a quality product, I'd definitely recommend this option.

Love it. Quiet. Large freezer. Ice cube maker is great. Refrigerator holds a lot of food. Being able to put half gallon of milk in the door is awesome. Best of all? There is a light in the freezer! We've had this refrigerator for two weeks now and don't know how we managed without it.
