30 in. 5.9 cu. ft. Single Oven Electric Range with Convection Oven in Fingerprint Resistant Black Stainless

First off, this is a beautiful range/oven. It is very modern looking and the subtle blue LED lights make appear high tech. The unit has convection heating so pre-heating the oven is a breeze. It takes no time at all to get the oven warm. The outside stays cool to the touch, which is nice for our toddler. I also like the fact that the bottom drawer doesn't have a handle. Our toddler used that on the old appliance to step up and reach the range. The range is a highly polished glass surface. Heating water and cooking are also simple. The only downfall, in my opinion, is the clock and display are a little dim. It would be nice to use the same blue LED as a highlight light for at night. This isn't a big deal, just would be nice to see on a future design of the range unit. I wasn't able to get the unit to connect to the Samsung Smart App. I am not sure if my appliance has that feature. If it does, I wasn't able to test the App control for preheating and other features.

I have had this stove for about 1 month and I love it. It looks so nice in my kitchen. I did purchase a ceramic cleaner the manufacturer recommended for the cooktop and it does clean and shine very well. I love the fact that the two front burners have different size heating elements that fit the pan I am using. The largest one has three sizes and the smaller one has two sizes which the heating element is controlled by the stove knobs. It also has a warming heat element which is nice for keeping food warm while I finish cooking the rest of our meal. The oven has three shelves, which makes it so convenient when cooking a bigger meal. Since I have only had this stove for a short time, I have not used the oven cleaning function. I would highly recommend this stove.

NICE 5.9 cubic foot oven, Beautiful matching Stainless Steel finish. There are so many features I cannot possibly use them all today. But Holidays are coming so you can believe that I will certainly use them then. I love that this is a easy oven to clean, the SS finish is fingerprint resistant and the inside is self and steam clean. It comes with a steam tray for steaming and crisping in another pan. The cook-top has an express boil, I can boil eggs in half the time, and a warming center for just warming things like butter for lobsters. Also there is a "hot surface" indicator lights, which does not tell you which one is on, but you will be more cautious when by it and the burners that are on, tells you by the LED lights surrounding the knob. Great part is that there are 4 sealed burners, and the burners are dual and triple sizes for anywhere from saucepans to stock pots. The oven is convection if you like more even cooking like we do. Has a storage door for our pizza stones, and a very wide window on the oven door for seeing how the cooking is doing. The whole range can also controlled with my smartphone. We can't wait to cook for labor day. See pictures below.

We love everything about this range - especially the clean appearance of the glass/ceramic cooking surface with the brushed stainless steel trim. this has a very extensive 56 page user manual - I really needed to read this - my old range was a simple 4 burner electric stove. The oven has additional features like the convection bake or roast, steam assist and the keep warm feature which keeps cooked food warm for up to 3 hours. One feature that I will not be using is the “SmartThings” app. A blue glow surrounds the temperature dial letting you know instantly which heating element is on, there are also two red warning lights - one indicating “COOKTOP ON” and the other “HOT SURFACE” - the latter is especially helpful since the glass surface remains hot for some time after turning the heating element off. Before getting this range I had been using the timer on my microwave (required several menu steps to get to the timer function) but the timer on this range is much easier to use, just select the timer function, punch in the time, press ON and its set (the only drawback is that the minimum selectable time is 60 seconds). The product description for the range top is a little misleading “cooks more, faster with 5 specialized elements” - there are actually only 4 cooking elements, the rear center element is only a low heat warming center for keeping food warm. There are two 6” diameter cooking elements at the back sides with a 7” diameter warming center between them. The left front cooking element noted as “Express Boil”- provides 2 size choices - 6” and 9” diameters. The right front cooking element provides 3 size choices - 6”, 9” and 12” diameters. The multiple cooking elements sizes are selectable on their respective knobs. When the oven is in use, an icon appears on the display panel showing the function and temperature (see photo). The 5.9 cu. ft. of oven is impressive, by placing the heating element under the oven floor they have increased the capacity. This also makes for a clean appearance but I am not sure how energy efficient it is having the heating element outside the oven. One small last thing - this does not include a broiler pan - be sure you keep the one from your previous oven.

Impressive piece of equipment... wife says the convection feature cooks faster and more evenly than our previous range but is a bit overwhelmed by all the various features and spends a lot of time reading the manual. I'm no cook by any means but I'm impressed by the smoothness of operating the controls, extra large viewing window, three available racks, and especially the door... it operates easily but has the heft and weight of what I'd imagine a commercial oven would have. Coming in at 167lbs this is no lightweight and strikes me as sturdily built. My kitchen skills are limited but I did manage to successfully boil water with very little effort! I did try connecting to the WiFi (just to see if I could) but was unsuccessful after several attempts. The wife is totally uninterested in this feature and I'm not sure being able to control a device capable of 500 degrees when out of sight is all that good of an idea anyway but each to his own I guess.

Easy delivery and install during C19. They assembled the unit outside and brought it in on shoulder strap lifts. They carry both plug types and will check before starting the process of installing. After the unit was installed they checked to see if all burners lit and that the oven got hot. In my case I had an old oven I paid extra to have them remove during the order process. They were in and out in less than 30 minutes. Oven still going 6 months later.

This really is a great stove/oven. I am a younger (elderly) male 60+ years, but i love to cook and do all of it in this household. There is one main reason I give this only 4 stars instead of 5, the convection cooking requires pushing 2 buttons at once (broil and 3) you cannot push broil then 3 or vice versa, they must be pushed at the same time. there should be a single button to activate convection cooking. also do not let the cooktop cleaning get away from you clean up all spills immediately if you want to keep it nice. I have not yet tried the steam cleaning. I have tried the steam assist baking once need more time to give proper votes on that. All in all it seems great. Home depot delivered, setup, and installed as ordered and done a great job, those guys get 5 stars. Highly recommend home depot and this Samsung range.

I had this range for 10 days and it stopped working, waiting for the service department to come out. Very disappointed, no returns accepted on appliances after 48 hours.
