The door on the left side is a fire hazard
woke up at 230 am to flame licking out of the bottom left corner of the ice maker. We wiped most of the soot but you can still see it in the photos. The model I have is different but it is the exact same door! I ordered a new door to see if it happens again (300.00), easy to change. The entire door unit is sealed so I have to grind this stainless and plastic apart once I get the new door in a few days. This just occurred a few days ago. Also, check the serial #.

All around great appliance with one caveat.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to buy my Samsung in a hurry because the GE refrigerator that came with the house went bad quickly. Overall it is well built with quality worthy of a first rate manufacturer. Positive points are its large capacity in the box that fits into the space of my old 27 Cu ft model, glass shelves and three ice configurations. In the few weeks I’ve owned it, it’s held its interior temperature consistently in both the freezer and refrigerator sections. This box runs very quietly, so much so, that I’ve checked the handy cell phone app Samsung provides to make sure it’s still running. By the way, the app is a great way to manage the temps and ice production both in the door dispenser and bulk ice in the freezer.
I would have given this product 5 stars except for the lack of adjustability of the shelves. Adequate storage of tall bottles and milk cartons is on the skimpy side, so much so that I purchased a shelving unit enabling horizontal storage of those items much like wine bottles. This might have been mitigated with more shelving adjustments as I mentioned previously.
With the exception of that one large negative, the box is a well finished and capable appliance. Compared to boxes with the same features and even less cubic feet, the Samsung was very attractively priced, some boxes running hundreds of dollars more. Also the warranty covers a longer period of time than almost all competitors.
If you can live with the few adjustability problems, I would recommend this product as an all around good purchase.

Great Refrigerator!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a wonderful refrigerator. I have many Samsung products, so I was expecting a great refrigerator, and that is what I got. What really got my attention is the four different types of ice! I love ice and I always run out, so this is such a great added benefit! I really love the Ice Bites, they are wonderful. All that ice comes to goo use, especially if you have company over or having a party. The refrigerator cools really fast, it only took about an hour to get it to 37 degrees. There is so much space available in the refrigerator and also in the freezer, even with the two ice trays in the freezer. I like how the refrigerator connects to the Samsung app and how you can control the temperature and be able to turn the ice makers on and off just from your phone. The one and only thing I didn't like is that there doesn't seem to be enough lights in the refrigerator section. It seems to be a little dark towards the bottom of the refrigerator, but that is the only thing I did not like. The refrigerator keeps your food cool and fresh and doesn't disappoint at all. I definitely recommend this refrigerator and I am so glad that I purchased this one!

From pouches of apple sauce, weird creations that somebody made, to pots and pots of food. It holds it all! The doors have special spacing for containers of juice or milk (full gallons I mean! Not just 2 liter sizes). This is great for my little guy that is still not tall enough to reach the full refrigerator. I love the fact that you can connect this fridge to your phone using Samsung smart things app. Your able to make sure that the fridge and freezer is at your selected temperature. It also tells you when any door is left open. Great for parents with younger kids. I've lost plenty of frozen items in the past because we didn't know the freezer was left open!
The ice machine is great. I didn't realize that the bottom ice maker continously makes ice! This to me is the highlight of the refrigerator! 4 different types of ice! Amazing! The freezer section is a good size. I have a deep freezer as well so the freezer section might be a problem if you freeze a lot. It's able to fit our ice cream, waffles, and a good amount of other stuff, but not our frozen packs of chicken, meats, and beef. Again, I'm a family of 4. So we freeze a lot. Still a great buy!

It has a sleek design with so much capacity. I couldn't believe that Samsung designed such a remarkable refrigerator. You can get lost in there. Easily it can fit 3 months worth of groceries. One thing that I am in love with is the SmartThings App feature. You can regulate your refrigerator from your phone. You are in control, also I am able to see all my appliances through one app which is so great. I can control the temperature remotely. I can see what's in my refrigerator. I like that I get a message if my daughter leaves the refrigerator open for too long and that I don't see her hand prints on my refrigerator. No other brand is like that. The freezer is really powerful, you can refreeze frozen ice-cream in seconds. My daughters loves ice-cream and always leaves it outside, but now it's not a problem anymore. What else can I say but simply a great investment and I am one very happy Mom.
