Taking accurate measurements in your home is critical when purchasing a new refrigerator. Here are step by step instructions on how to do it correctly.
Please ensure the following prior to delivery:
- Water connection kit required
- 110V-grounded, 3-prong electrical outlet
- Water valve (shutoff) within 6 ft. of hook up

Horrible Fridge
just google the ice maker issue and you'll see. there is even a class action suit about it.
ours hasn't worked in months. you can defrost and it may work for a few days, and right back to it.
on top of that, the freezer and middle drawers have handles that break easily as they connection is plastic and breaks overtime. we are on the 3rd replacement now, 2 of which are out of pocket.
we are moving to a different brand now. in 4 years, we had 2 new fridges, 3 different handles replaced, 2 ice makers, and we still have no ice.

I was disappointed that within an hour of delivery the handles came off of the fridge! My husband and I had to finagle them back on and it took us quite some time to fix. This shouldn’t have happened on a new device and I think someone didn’t do a very good job with this important feature. It tainted my experience! Otherwise I would have given this product a 5!

Beware the unsealed ice maker
I have had this model for 2 years, and have been happy with it. The space is great, the drawers and versatility of the shelves works for my family perfectly. The water/ice dispenser is rugged enough to handle my 3 children. But eventually, your ice maker will get blocked with frost and ice.
The ice maker in the Samsung refrigerators are not door ice makers. The compartment where the ice maker lives isn't sealed against the rest of the fridge, causing frost/ice build-up. You will have to disassemble the ice maker completely to seal it & then it all works fine. I don't know why Samsung doesn't do this prior to shipping these things out, but there you go. There is a very good step-by-step video on how to do this by Dr. Parts on Youtube. Easier to do BEFORE you fill it with food :)

Pricy junk!
The value of this model versus how much you pay for it do not match up. At the price of this unit you wouldn't expect all the drawers and shelf units to break or crack. I've had 3 shelf units and a drawer crack and another shelf, a corner of the shelf breaks off when taking it out of the door to clean it. This is all in the first year of ownership. This is PURE TRASH! Do not buy this unit! Samsung should be ashamed to sell this quality of a product. I won't be buying any other Samsung product after this overpriced purchase.

I received my Samsung refrigerator and the installers were very professional and helpful. I have had it for about 2 weeks. Love the room that it has compared to the side by side that I had. Wasnt sure about the black stainless steel. But to my surprise, I really like it and really like that fingerprints do not show.
The ice maker is a little slow at getting ice but I can live with it because the ice setting we have it on makes the crushed ice soft to chew. after using the water or getting ice we notice it drips a little water in the drip pan on front but it doesnt so it all the time. But all in all LOVE the fridge.
