I considered a Gas Range and induction but I purchased this Induction cooktop after reading about the negative health effects of Gas ranges. I liked the sleek style of the cooktop and digital operating system. It was recently installed so I'll write a follow-up review once I have more time to use it!

Just getting started.
I have just installed the unit and have not had much time to use it. The look is very nice. I have had a little difficulty using the dials and the cooktop turned on max and burned one item when I thought I had set the cooktop to simmer. I hope this is just because I am not familiar with the cooktop yet. Looking forward to learning more I received compensation for this review but the review is my own.

$8,000 - Wasted Electricity over next 10 years
ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BUY THIS UNIT UNLESS YOU LIKE SPENDING OVER $800 PER YEAR JUST TO HAVE IT SIT OFF!
I just had a service technician to my home to troubleshoot this cooktop. The problem is that even when the cooktop is off it is still pulling 2.14 amps at the circuit breaker panel. After looking over the unit and conferring with their technical people I was told that it is working as designed. That's insane. Where I live that is over $800 per year just to have it sit off.

Hugely dissapointed
My 15 year old GE Monogram induction cook top died and I needed a quick replacement. The "puck" is not responsive. It will jump around from 0 to 15 and to 8 and basically random. It is meant to be a fine dial. Using the cook top without the knob will give you a bit better control, but still not as precise as the +/- found on most models. My second disappointment is the fact that they did not use the world leader ceramic top from SCHOTT, but brand marked "K". Not as good!

Great cooktop! Great Features! Highly recommend.

So far this induction cooktop has met and maybe exceeded my expectation, considering some of the reviews that I’ve seen on the website. The features are excellent, it is incredibly fast, and was simple to install. I’ve had no problems whatsoever with this cooktop. I’ll update this review in a month or two after we put it through more paces.

Great...when it works
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installed the cooktop a few months ago with mixed results. We've found that pots/pans need to be in exactly the right spot for it to work, and its really frustrating when we think its in the right place and heating only to find out that the cooktop shut off because it couldn't detect the pot/pan. We've followed all the directions, placed larger pans onto the smaller cooktop to ensure that it fully covers the cooktop circle, and it still works sporadically. We make it work, but my in laws have an older Samsung induction cooktop (different model) that works flawlessly. Not sure why this one has so many issues.

Extremely tempermental
pictures say most of the issue, but aside from inconsistent burners, the controls are hypersensitive to any moisture. you cannot wipe this with a damp cloth or splash any sauce. you will hear the beeping in your nightmares. the stove will also randomly adust temperature or turn completely off if any moisture hits any controls.
check my video and pictures to see the awesome flex zone for yourself.
i want to return this thing sooo bad...but it functions as samsung designed it...so i will just be selling it to someone on the cheap.

Stunning
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I saw my Samsung Stainless Steel 30 Inch Smart Combination Electric Wall Oven with Built in Microwave; Model #NQ70M7770DS being taken off of the truck and going into my home I was Thrilled. To actually have an appliance that is leading in technology, sleek and beautiful in my kitchen feels amazing. The cobalt blue light inside both the microwave and oven is stunning. I smile down to my toes every time I see it. It is nice and shiny with the easy to read LED display. I smile with pride every time I see it. It makes me feel proud of myself for being savvy enough to buy such a handsome appliance that makes me stand out as a great cook (which I'm not without this appliance) and the fact that it is a smart appliance. It is very efficient to be able to use the app on my phone to communicate with my stove!
The user manual is very easy to understand to help me operate the oven and microwave quickly. Setting up the connection to the Wi-Fi and Smart Things app was shockingly simple because the display on the microwave walked me through the easy steps. It is a wonderful option to know that I can remotely control the oven. I can easily pre-heat the oven while I am close to home and it will be temperature ready when I arrive.
There are many accessories included with the microwave and eliminated me from purchasing more.
I used the temperature probe to cook a steak for my son this afternoon and it was cooked perfectly thanks to the stove! Perfectly! This is a word I have used in relation to my cooking ever. My son was thrilled with the taste and I felt as though I stood out as an amazing cook because the steak and vegetables were delicious thanks to my new stove.
I highly recommend this combination stove/microwave because it has turned my meals into fond memories.
