It is very spacious with 5 surface elements that quickly heat up and are easy to control with Samsung’s magnetic dial. It can be moved to each element’s controls and dialed to the appropriate temperature. The two left elements can be synced to create a large heated element used by a griddle for cooking pancakes, bacon, etc. Two of the elements have a selectable pan size option as well. The glass cooktop is super easy to clean and has an awesome beveled edge that trims it out nicely. The unit easily connects to our Samsung SmartThings app, which controls and monitors many of our Samsung appliances. We love cooking on our new cooktop and find that we have more room than ever to prepare multiple items, and love how it looks in our kitchen!

My daughters gifted me this cooktop for Mother's Day, however, I didn't get it installed until almost two weeks ago. Already the cooktop is showing damage in the appearance. I am including pictures. Based on previous reviews online I have taken extra caution when placing pots on the heating elements and removing them. I only use a cooktop cleaner to clean the surface. Haven't had any food to spill or splatter on the surface in the 5 or six times I've used it. Still, there is damage to the areas of two of the coils after only using them twice. Also worth mentioning, the elements get much hotter much faster than my previous cooktop. I feel like I am learning to cook all over again. Ex. placing the knob midway between Hi and Lo is equivalent to Hi on my last cooktop. adjusting to the performance aside, I am more disappointed in the fact that I did not get the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the appliance a little while longer.

I was concerned about the ratings before and the scratches that people reported. The second time we used it some weird bubbles inside the unit seemed to appear and scratches on the glass. I looked at other people’s comments and tried baking soda and water on the marks and it took them right off. Easy to do. Some pans shouldn’t be used with it. I had originally bought an induction cooktop but it didn’t fit but induction pans work great with this cooktop with no marks. It’s easy to use and heats up fast. Looks nice and goes well with all our other stainless steel Samsung appliances.

I’ve owned several cooktops in the past, but this one is definitely the best, with all of the new features that have been added. One of my favorites, is the lock button. I have a daycare, in my home, so safety is definitely a priority for me. One touch of a button, locks the whole cooktop, so it can’t be turned on accidentally either. The Sync Control Selection is also amazing. I have a griddle that I love to cook with, but I don’t have a lot of counter space to use it very often. The Sync Control Selector allows me to use two burners combined, to cook on my griddle, anytime I want to use it, without the worry of enough space. The Burner Size Selection Feature, has also came in very handy. Having this option, has allowed me to make big dinners for my family, without the worry of having the perfect size pots for each burner. Another feature, that I absolutely love is the magnetic knob, that included with this cooktop. This knob allows me to adjust the settings with the turn of the knob. You also have a the option to adjust it manually, if you would prefer. This cooktop also offers a rapid boil option, a simmer selector, and a melt selection. The options have definitely came in handy, when I’m trying to put together a quick dinner for my family. Last, but definitely not least, is the Smart Things App. With the use of this app, you are able to set timers and also receive alerts, when your food is ready to be served. It also allows you to prepare meals simultaneously. Samsung has definitely surpassed all of my expectations again. I will definitely be recommending this cooktop to all of my friends and family.

When she received this, Samsung Cooktop, I had to immediately try it out with Sunday breakfast routine. The Sync Control, is definitely my favorite feature. We have a griddle, that I like to use, when I'm making waffles or pancakes, but we don't have a lot of cabinet space, to use it very often. The Sync Control, allowed me to combine two burners, so we were able to cook pancakes, while the bacon was cooking. I also love the magnet and digital control features. This allows you to control the settings digitally or by the use of the magnetic knob. Last, but definitely not least, is the Lock Option. This is a very important safety feature for me, this gives me the option to lock the cooktop completely. We have two small boys, so this absolutely gives me a sense of security. Overall, this is one of Samsung's Top Appliance's for me. I've tried several cooktops, from other brands and they didn't offer half the features, this cooktop has! I would definitely recommend this to all of my friends and family!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cook top is stunning. It made my kitchen look absolutely beautiful! It took us some getting used to we came off of a regular electric cooktop. But I must say once we figured out how to use all of the setting and read all of the directions. This cooktop allows for fast even cooking. It is wifi enabled, and the wide design leaves us with space to cook on all burners at once if nee be. There is also the option to switch some of the burners from large to small. I would definitely recommend this cooktop to anyone in the market for a new one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently replaced our aging electric cooktop with Samsung's new sleek electric cooktop. Delivery and installation went flawlessly, and the cooktop looks amazing in our kitchen. There are 5 surface elements that provide plenty of cooking space. All controls are done digitally and have a main master power control. Once the master power is on, individual surface units can be controlled by your finger or the very cool magnetic knob. When the knob is moved to a new zone control, the element is powered and element temperature can be increased or decreased by rotating the knob or using you finger. The left two zones can be synced to allow the use of a griddle for cooking pancakes, eggs, bacon, etc. The elements heat very quickly and provide for a rapid boil. There is plenty of space for us to use different elements, and we love the simplicity of the controls. Cleanup is super easy with the glass cooktop. There is also a lockout feature for safety in case you have small children. We absolutely love our new cooktop and its features! It looks wonderful in our kitchen with our other Samsung appliances.

The modern features of the cooktop including the touch controls were very easy to use. The five burners was a big plus. I don’t think I have ever seen a five burner! Cooking with this stovetop is amazing! And just by the installation of the cooktop it has greatly helped in modernizing my kitchen!
